I chickened out of the roman road. Had my friend drive my 109. First bend is very tight for long wheel based vehicles.

It does have a couple of undergrad protections peaces Only on 30s tyers but juts hops over stuff lol 😂

@@Discoveryjamie I think the 2 less cable vehicles here are the D2 and the Suzuki and they both did amazing Knowing Stee & chris had lockers and still got stuck at the same place while me and Dave only had CDL and TC 😍 Best lane I done in the UK to can’t wait to take the pass on again in the future

its got 2inch lift and about 29inch tyres. but dave is planing to fit 30ich tyers soon

It’s a permit track mate you need to get the permit But was looking for a friend befor and there all out of permits now till next year It’s on one a month and only open to 4WD though the summer

Will ask Dave if he wants to do a walk round if it soon as it seems a lot of people interested lol 😂 Put in to google GATESGATH pass permit should be the first link Unfortunately it’s only on ones a month for vehicles and was looking for a mate if mine before and all out of permits till next year For the 4x4s it’s only in the summer

@NORTHWEST4X4OFFROADGROUP excellent thank you! I have a GV same year as Daves, got a 2" lift and under body guards but just interested to know what else he's done and how he finds ground clearance. Had a quick look at the permit but yeah all sold out sadly

The lane is protected so it doesn’t end up shut 100 inch wheel base also as it’s tight
