I have a daughter who is 13, almost 14, and everyone looks at her and thinks she looks a lot older because she’s tall. She’s my baby girl though, and I would be devastated if someone took advantage of her and abused her and then tried to make it seem like she was a consenting participant and older than what she was.

But she’s in her 50’s and could have pressed this issue with media who’d been all too happy to expose it. But was it wrong what happened? Of course, young lady? No, a child. Never acceptable. Pastor Morris may have asked God for forgiveness and If he sincerely is sorry for his actions God has forgiven him, but, you have to be clear with God and people as to what actually happened. I do not know if I believe the elders. This has been covered up from the beginning. The elders at that time covered it up and lied about it. His wife knew as well. I’m certain that the elders back then either kept their mouths shut or passed that info along. All I know is that this has been lied about since it happened. I agree with her, he should have been terminated. But I suspect they knew this was coming up and had their plans in place. Robert Morris is still downplaying it and lying about it. He has talked about it several times at the pulpit. All lies. But I think it made him feel better bc he must live in guilt over it. I pray he truly repents and gets set free and this brings him to his knees. I pray that Cindy feels somewhat of a release and forgiveness for her sake. And that she can heal completely. I pray for justice to be done. God will have the last word.

Her dad should be prosecuted too for not pressing charges in the 80’s! I feel like there are more family skeletons in the closet for this to have happened for five years and the parents did not do anything. I knew right from wrong as a child from the 70’s I would have told my parents the first time someone laid hands on me that that man would not have done another thing in life!

I know sexual abuse of a child is a sin and should be punished. Period. But there are some questions. At 17 when it finally came out why didn't her parents do anything about it? Why wait for 37 years? More, after 1987, it stopped. It sounds more like a conspiracy to destroy a person's life after he's come clean for 37 years. It shows he's repented of his sin. This goes against the biblical principle of grace and forgiveness. It just doesn't make sense. After 37 years? If the same standard of judgment is applied to all, including thise pointing their fingers today, then all would be condemned. Who wouldn't have committed some sin at some point in time? It doesn't seem realistic this condemnation. More sound judgment should have been applied. 🙏

And has encouraged his audience to beware of these temptations. Pastor Robert Morris has openly all his years of ministry been most opened about his young struggles. Please know there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus . Our Lord tells us that He forgives us in the same way we forgive others. Our Lord tells us that if we commit the least of All sins we are guilty of committing them all. And that is why we need a Savior. Please know the Lord Jesus Loves you and doesn’t bring condemnation upon anyone. However there is a judgement day coming. I do not personally know Pastor R. Morris however has listened to his ministry for years! My heart is broken for this message has been broadcasted worldwide. When souls could have been delivered and saved. Jesus cried from the cross Father forgive them after we drove nails in His Hands and His Feet. We know Jesus is coming soon! He is the Best Judge!

When Morris confessed to Cindy's parents Morris said he Forgave Cindy!???? That's as absurd as it can get.. There must be mandatory reporting to police for sexually grooming a child who's just 12 years old..
