@@HiNRGboy There are four handed forms of Klaberjass. Belote is a similar but different game with different origins, notably being much younger

Schmeiss is also an option, along with Pass or Take!

Schmeiss is a third option along with Pass and Make (The Penguin Book of Card Games page 306). The meaning of Schmeiss (pronounce shmyss) is the following: suppose is the nondealer turn (so it's the first turn of bidding) and he choose to Schmeiss, this mean that he's offering to the dealer two options: 1) accept the face up card as trump or 2) throw the hand in. If instead at the beginning the nondealer say Pass, now the dealer has the three options: Pass, Make and Schmeiss. One last consideration: Schmeiss increase the depth of the game and should be considerate as an concrete option if, for example, you fear that the opponent may score a lot of points in another suit as trump and at the same time you should have something for defend if the opponent choose to accept the turned suit as trump

We dont count up after the game. The scorekeeper per team keeps score during the game and are allowed to look back one trick. Opponent scorekeeper may also ask to see your last trick. The team who scores the last trick should give score to the other team which, if incorrect, may lose the round, they may even be disqualified.

Where I am from this is called "bela" and it has a similar rules to this with few differences: 1) Six + four cards are dealt instead of a six + three 2) When it is played with two players, each player draws from the card deck when one trick is played so all of the cards are used 3) When it is played with three players the remaining two cards that are undealt can be used to exchange for the any other two cards in the hand by the player who chose a trump 4) You can also announce sequences of 5,6 and 7 cards which is worth 100 points 5) If a player gets a sequence of 8 cards in a trump suit he instantly wins the whole game 6) You can also announce sets of four cards (4 jacks = 200 points, 4 queens = 150 points and four aces, tens and kings = 100 points) 7) Points from the announced sequences and sets are only given to the player who has the strongest ones. If he doesn't win any tricks, they do not count 8) Each game has a total score of 162 points + accepted announcements (for example if a player had a 50 points from the announcements a game is worth 212 points) 9) Every player has to win a half+1 of total game value to "pass", otherwise they get 0 points for that round 10) A player who called a trump has to pass and win more tricks then other players, if he doesn't rest of the players get their points 11) A game is played until 501 points for two players, 701 points for three players and 1001 points for four players.

4:46: “ only one sequence can be scored” I believe this is incorrect. I’ve been studying this game lately and have been referring to many sources: pagat, Hoyle, penguin, etc. for the most part, these sources state that the winner of the sequences can score ALL sequences that they have. So, for instance, if one player has a 50 and the other has a 20, then the winner of the sequences, the 50, can score any other additional sequences they hold provided they show them to the other player.

Ny Fanilo Andrianjafy I’M from the Netherlands and the older generation always plays this. But how OP pronounces Klaverjas it makes me think people in Germany also play this
