I just recieved my cover for my 2023 Gladiator, and was going over the instructions. They are not the best, so I looked for a video for the install on a gladiator. You made a very nice video, and it cleared up a few things. One thing that I noticed was they must have changed the hardware, and added 3 clamps per side, to clamp the side rail to the bed rail. I'm wondering if some people had trouble with the cover blowing off while driving with it open.

Hi buckhornlodge, that is interesting to know. I often need to take out the cover to transport large items. There have been a few times I don't tighten the front clamps because I'm in a hurry and don't claim into the truck bed till a couple days later. The cover did not move any of these times. Going forward I'll make sure to tighten all clamps. Also, I don't really tighten the claims. I just leave the bold knob snug. It makes it easier when removing the cover next time. Thanks for watching and for your comment. Cheers, JC

Another great video, still can't believe the wrangler is gone. You should teach garage organization, I wish mine looked like that.

Thanks, Ryan. We want to upgrade our camper trailer. I can now tow more with the Gladiator. Garages take a lot of work to keep organized. Everything ends up there. Thanks for watching and for your comment. Cheers, JC

9:29 you never made mention of how you cleared the two forward bulkhead (built in) bolts which were covered from the spray-in bed liner. Why do you all avoid this process in your videos? Whats the trick in clearing out the spray in liner material so you can bolt on the fwd bracket?

Same. What did you end up doing?

probably going to have a to buy a chase to clear out wholes from overspray

Hi Doberdog, I'm not sure what you are referring to. Somehow the bed liner spray did not get on the bed hole threads. I just looked at the Gladiator and all my bolts and screws are on. It's been a year and a half since I installed the bed cover. I always have it on. I've taken it off numerous of times to carry cargo but, I always place the cove back on when done with the cargo. The cover is still in perfect condition and it works great. It was a great investment to purchase this cover for me. Thanks for watching and for your question. Cheers, JC

DO NOT BUY the hardcover tri-fold for second gen Tacoma's the mounting hardware used on the accessories rails is trash. It doesn't let the rail sit low enough. All other trucks it's good and mounted properly. For tacoma's, it doesn't sit right and it's not secure. A serious risk of it getting sucked off your truck while driving. On top of that, it doesn't seal well enough to keep water out. It is also not secure and can be easily opened even when the tailgate is closed. Buy a different brand/design.
