To anyone who is recently having this issue. I had the same problem with abs/warning lights, And gas/rpm/ Speedo all going nuts. After 4 mechanics and endless stressing. I found an auto electric specialist that determined it was the abs pump/module. Hopefully this helps. I spent hours watching these videos and going crazy. This was my fix. Hope it helps someone out!

Had the exact same problem 2008 Lincoln MKX. Changed the alternator.

My Caravan dash gauges and lights went bonkers when I tried to start the car. I would star after a few seconds but all my gauges were out of whack. CHANGED THE BATTERY. PROBLEM SOLVED.

its not the abs control module. Its a instrument cluster connection issue or the instrument cluster circuit board.

I had this problem, started with audio display flickering, then after a few month the real trouble began starting with the dashboard lights going haywire, power steering didn't work, both rpm and speedometer goes on and off, car audio volume going up and down erratically and the air conditioning didn't work (blows hot air). At times the car door lock goes crazy (on and off rapidly for a few seconds, sometimes minutes). It goes back to normal after start/stop for many times or driving for about 10-20 minutes and the stop/start, but I wasn't comfortable with doing that. And even after it goes back to normal the check engine light is lit. I really didn't have the time to get it checked, but it annoyed me for the longest time. When the display flickered (1st stage of problem), Honda advised me that it might be a relay switch problem and it'll take a few days to diagnose and repair. Didn't have the luxury to go careless so I didn't leave the car with them. I kept driving when the problem escalated, and I'm sure it's not the battery problem because I just got it replaced. Then while I was driving today I had an idea on what could be the problem. When I bought the car I had a OBD door lock dongle installed (it's an plug and play dongle that goes to the car's On Board Diagnostic plug that will automatically lock your doors when you put the gear to D) and since I noticed that the door lock goes crazy, I figured maybe the dongle is causing the problem (plus it's a third party dongle). I parked the car, switched off the engine and removed the dongle. Started the car and it worked! After driving and stopping and driving it still worked like normal. Issue resolved! Saved a trip to Honda.

Same issue with my Peugeot 107 but its the ABS, brake warning light, and the power steering lights that are flickering. Got told it was the alternator so replaced it but the issue is still happening.

I've been spending my 1 hour lunch breaks in my car every afternoon since the beginning of this year. I drive 10 mins to and from work everyday and I only had an oil change in February since I don't do much driving. While I was at lunch today sitting in my car with the AC at full blast because of the 100°f temp, I noticed my speedometer needle started to flick up and down and the ABS light came on like exactly the way it happened in this video. I immediately turned of everything and ran back inside cuz the weather was so hot! Is it the heat that is causing it to behave that way? Can I still leave my car on with the AC on without damaging anything? My battery was replaced in January this year so I know its not the battery.

Is it still safe to drive while it’s doing that ? It doesn’t stay on for me. It comes on and stays on for about 10-30 seconds then disappears. I don’t have the money to get it fixed right now, but I start work next week, and my car is my only ride.

You said you were just sitting in your car, but it clearly shows by the jumping you are doing you are driving with a bust speedo, other problems you have with your clocks acting the way they are doing is most likely your alternator on it's way out, get it checked.

I have the same car. I was driving fine then ABS came on then a little later the speedometer quit along with my lights (brights, dash lights, brake lights, etc), all lights went crazy Went to turn it off and let it sit for a few minutes and now the car wont start or turn over. The buttons on the key dont even work anymore. Any idea what it could be?

Have a Peugeot 307 Auto, had the abs light come on one night, took to a mechanic next day and he ran a diagnostic through the car and cleared of the abs fault error. Car drove fine after that but later that day took it for a spin again and whilst parking up the abs light came on again with the STOP light on dashboard flashing, speedmeter just died out and the gear numbers on my dash stayed on D instead of the usual 1 2 3 etc also whats bizzare is the interior lights were also flashing rapidly at the time as well. Turned off the engine, restarted and ran without any problems. Not sure what the problem is and haven't got much expenses to cover any repairs atm. I'm doomed ;(

This is an electrical issue. On all electrical cars. 1check. All your electrical fuses located inside the fuse box. Turns out. You have a blown. Fuse so Just Switch it for a new fuse and problem solved. Number two your terminal cables that connect to your battery are lose or corroded So if lose simply tight it on. And problem solved or clean your terminal battery connecters and problem solved. Number 3 it could be your alternator witch needs to be replaced. Witch can be easily done and save you time and money if you do it yourself. If not have a mechanic do it for you and problem solved. Good luck. Hope rhis was helpful
