This to me was the best music ever it displays the epicness of not only the final battle for the realms but a fight that will leave the players wanting more and desiring victory among other things

When I first fought him I expected him to bust out of the statue after you beat it. Thus making garm the only boss in the game with 2 health bars in a fight and adding something different for the end game.

I think this is the song that set me on my journey to become a metal head. I remember playing this game as a kid all the sound tracks were awesome even if I didn't really realize it at the time but 1:36 gave me goosebumps. I still remember beating this game.. god I LOVED this game. I remember the first time I entered the final boss area... the blue fire... the purple effects an then the music started playing! this game was AWESOME an no gauntlet has lived up to it since IMHO the incredibly dark setting an killer sound track just sold me on it all. everything just felt so gloomy an EVIL

I played this recently on Retro arch and the pure nostalgia flooded back to me as I heard this song. Garm is tough if you don't have your character leveled up to 99. His eye beams are what stops you from moving and can do massive damage. Garm is not as epic of a boss to fight vs Scorn, but man is Garm's theme epic. Fun fact: Garm's theme runs for the entirety of the fight if you don't use any items.

I agree - the Garm fight was rather lame. At least Skorne tried harder to put up a fight. The only good stuff involved in the battle was the music and watching Garm get his comeuppance.

The wraith was harder than Garm. Hell! With four players you can tap spam your potions and kill him in one go, I really thought there was going to be a Citadel level.

The music always cut out on my copy during this fight so I didn’t know what it sounded like until almost 15 years of playing this game went by

i was a yellow warrior and my older brother was a yellow dwarf. the first time we made it to Garm, 8 year old me was SWEATING 😂
