I can so relate to "Beti hui hai, Koi baat nai". We had our firstborn after 5 years of marriage and we always wanted a girl child first. And we did get blessed with a daughter. And just over 2 years later, we got blessed with our second daughter. And that's when most of the people around were like, it's ok koi baat nai, 2 laxmi aa gayi, no one had heartful greetings for us. I was in fact very happy that I would have 3 ladies who will love me (including my wife). Daughters are always closer to fathers. And yes they are very close to me. I am so lucky to have them in my life. Sometimes, I get teary when I think of the moment they will leave me after marriage.

Finally I had the guts to say that like Shiv and Parvati , God blessed us with 2 sons. Society is like how Gaurav said if its a girl tgen they want a boy and if its 2 girls then its a sad situation even for parents as I have seen many of them always wanted a boy baby. In our case we wanted just 1 child and that 2 a girl. The 2nd time when I knew it was a boy I started crying continuously and my husband pacified me by telling that I can choose the girl name Prayaga and put as Prayag❤. It took me atleast 3 months to come out of it. But my younger one has given me all the love and I completely forget that he is a boy as he too adorable and so caring towards me than anyone🙏. He is the apple of my eye. In my husbands family my both kids are the only 2 boys, the first and last boy. The rest all have 2 girls each so in our case it was a blessing for all of them. I ❤ krishna too much that I keep thinking maybe thats why I have 2 brothers and 2 sons❤.

I laughed so hard tbh but I cried a bit too in the end when "papa ko sugar" joke came up. Now I only have my mother and sisters and I promise to take care of them forever. I remember my parents telling me how the hospital was flooded with relatives and loved ones when i was born. My family always wanted a daughter and i was their first. My mother told me that the first words that came out of my grandfather's mouth was "you've given birth to our maa saraswati, she'll make all of us proud." I'm a third daughter of my parents and my parents were never sad about the fact that they have three daughters, rather they introduce us with very proud as we all are good in academics and career. But I remember every time my father used to tell my relatives or any other persons that they have three daughters the next question was "beta nahi hai?" And then they used to start consoling my parents. This is so relatable in many ways cause even though we are good in our careers still people used say that "ek to ladka hona chahiye tha"

I have twin daughters and trust me this is what I always wanted & feel blessed to have them but all my relatives started consoling me the day I delivered my babies. When I was in hospital people stated saying exactly the same thing - ek ladka ho jata to family complete ho jati. I was literally finding someone who would really be happy to wish me. But later I realised oh yeah we live in India & it’s their mindset from ages which we can’t help it. My girls are two now & still get to hear such things to give it a try to third one that we need ghar ka chirag to build up your vansh & all blah blah blah…. My relatives feel insecure whenever they see how could me & my husband be happy with two girls? Let’s make them feel that our family is still incomplete!!! I mean seriously! Why people can’t just understand to have a baby is enough & gender doesn’t really matters. If we really wanted girls then plz spare us. I’m happy with my twin daughters & I love them ❤️

When my daughter was born I distributed 5kgs+ KAJU KATLI in the hospital and the doctor came to me and said this is the first time some one has distributed this mithai and that too for a baby girl.😍😍😍 Since that day from(2015) my daughter has made me so proud till date, I am blessed because she is a special child.🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰
