Amusing, Guru Gaur never says it’s some wisdom from Sanatan Dharm, none of the Hindus write that they are Hindus, they just accept the wisdom imparted. Christians and Muslims first write that they follow a different religion and then a condescending acceptance ! Why? Notice the difference between the Sanatanis and the others?

At 68 and having seen (too) many friends and acquaintances pass away from debilitating diseases I came to the conclusion there are only three things that can provide happiness in life and in that order... good health, family and good friends... No money in the world can buy those... I will always remember the words of the father of one of my friends dying from cancer and spending his days on the couch in the salon when I picked up my friend to go play soccer. He said 'What I wouldn't give to be healthy again for just one day'... Carpe Diem while you still can and be thankful for it...

@user-kr6wb4tz6i Na ah....I once rented a room as a roommate from a woman who had all kinds of different incurable diseases(liver, blood snd kidneys) for which she took like 20 different pills per day which did not work together well.. They made her sicker. She had a well paying job which she got fired from because she called in sick too often. Her ex was giving her a hard time over some money he claimed he was due from the divorce. Her daughter hated her(rarely visited with her granddaughter) and she paid two people to be her friends like she would find some chores or repairs for them to do and call them in. If they didn't get paid they would not stop by to say Hi. She bought a 2 yr old German Shepard to have friendship and the beast was a monster....shit all over the place, chewed up everything it could get its teeth in and didn't listen to her at all(nor o me) so. she had to return it to where she had bought it... The most miserable woman I ever met in my life... Oh yeah, she was a hard-core liberal/communist who ate my food that I bought for myself and had put in the fridge... she thought sharing was fair... without asking...One day she told me to move out because she had to sell her house tsp she could move move to an apartment. I was there for a year and more than once did I have to call 911 because she had one of her seizures and then hasd to stayin the hospital for another wee. None of her 'friends' nor her daughter visited her... I was more than happy to get out of there and I never looked back nor do I care what happened to her.... She all but confirmed what I commented earlier to which you replied...

When you give money to the poor and see their smiling face; this inturn gives you happiness. Of course, you can't buy Happiness directly with money but by giving money to those in need make you happy. Seeing the smile of a person you help,make you happy.

True happiness lies in the mindset of a person. It is beyond material things. Sometimes the sheer sense of sacrificing for your loved ones gives you happiness, even though that might be making your life difficult. If only easy life could give all happiness, no rich would ever be unhappy... 🙏
