Amazing, this is the best I have seen you can't tell, except in the end. Just need if you please brief how did you do it

Wow, this is awesome @gradeeterna, a very accurate and clean result, congrats! I noticed a huge difference with the Luma IA training you shared. How long did the splatfacto take to finish the trainging and how many images from your 10 minute video did you use?

Wow, very nice result! Could you make a mini tutorial on how you captured your shots before training to achieve such a clean outcome? Are you still using an Insta360 One RS?

Thanks! I shot about 10 minutes of video with a Fuji mirrorless camera and a wide lens - manual focus, F5.6 or F8, high shutter speed and cranked the ISO. I forgot to pack the 360 camera for this trip, but I don't get very good results with it indoors.

Wow! Very nice and accurate result. So what are the benefits in Splatfacto compared to regular Gaussian Splatting training? I assume you did this again with 360 camera. How many separate images you crop the equirectangular footage?

Thanks Olli!! I was testing splatfacto's new antialiased mode which helps with some fine details, but this scene looks almost identical with Inria GS and Postshot. I used a Fuji mirrorless with a wide lens, I don't think the 360 camera would have done very well in here.

@@gradeeterna Ok. So you shot it with DSLR camera. How many different heights you did you scanned the area and how many iterations steps you trained it. 300k or more? It is so accurate.
@gradeeterna3 ай бұрын
@@OlliHuttunen78 I changed the height a little with each pass, but had a very confused tour guide breathing down my neck so didn't have much time 😅 There's a Luma interactive version in the description, it holds up pretty well but you can see where it falls apart. I'm pretty sure this was only 30k iterations with splatfacto.

@@gradeeterna kudos for the great result! Out of curiosity, what focal length did you use with your wide lens?

Insanely crisp! Did you go around in circle, as if you were capturing an "object" in the middle? Or did you simply walk the corridor? I couldn't get good results indoors, due to images not matching during COLMAP stage. Have you had the same problem?

Amazing! Could you tell us what is your capture pattern when you film interior spaces? I tried to capture indoor scenes but there are many floaters appear in the result.

Did you use the K1 by xgrids for this or just a camera? I have to scan the interior of a factory soon and it's going to be a challenge...
