I think they left it on a cliffhanger to see how people reacted to the episode as a whole and it was definitely a success. So I wouldn't be surprised if they either make a new series or make another episode next Christmas or something. The episode today was defo better than I thought it was going to be

Gavin & Stacey for me has the "Only Fools" effect. Can watch it again and again and never get tired of it. The Christmas Special didn't disappoint, but there has to be another - one day. Don't care when, but with that ending, it's gotta happen.

It was fantastic. Nessa proposing to Smithy at the end was such a surprise and leaving it on a cliffhanger when there's no guarantee of more was pure evil. G&S is one of the all-time greatest British sit-coms and I'm so glad we had last night's reuinion.

I’d never watched Gavin and Stacey before but watched the Christmas special and now I’m hooked. Can’t wait to binge watch it 😊
