What a humble champion.

Would've liked some more questions regarding Port, both Maggies and Power, but I understand the bias. In pretty typical Gav fashion he was almost overly-humble. Talking about stuff and being asked questions he's probably been asked a ton of times since he retired and yet he still seems almost embarrassed by his accomplishments. Such a true, humble champion. The current side plays best when they play like Gav did.

dont know why I hadn't seen this Gav was bombers thru and thru and it shows how emotional he was talking about how he never spoke to the playing group { I understand that as a 23yr old that would have been so heartbreaking} but now his son Tex is with the mighty red and black if he lives up to being 1/2 as good as his dad he will be a star too

Never saw Wanganeen celebrate a goal for Essendon the way he celebrated his goals for Port Adelaide in the 2004 Grand Final.

Fantastic show. Wish they were more Port Adelaide Power/Magpies legends to get an opportunity to be on the show.

I remember when he was so good, he would get taggers put on him playing back pocket. Unheard of. Also I think the best goal he ever kicked was against Brisbane, Night final, from the boundary line, off balance, out of mid air IMO the greatest back pocket of all time.

Gav is being so diplomatic here. Of course he loved his time at Essendon, but if you search his many other interviews online, his heart has always been with the Magpies.
