i deal with body image issues and have met a someone who loves me for the way I am.

I deal through body issues daily basis. It’s a constant struggle of not being good enough or fitting in.

The journey of fitting in suck but my only advice is not to loose yourself that makes you different from everyone else. 🤫‼️

I think you should do a video on gay men and their mental age. By that I mean how some can be chronologically above 30 years old but act like they're in high school and how it affects their lives and relationships with others. Great video. The pressure to look a certain way is real!

It's so sad that exists on all sides. Even those who are physically fit face rejection and isolation if they are a heart-based individual who values emotional intimacy

During the peak of pandemic, my body put on weight/size. Not grossly, by any means. But I had never had a gut in my entire life. So recently I started working out at home with weights and exercise... yet my damned gut still won't start going away. I'm in my fifties now, so like others in my age group, we have ridiculous hurdles to overcome if we will ever meet someone and take it to the next level. Trying to get a date, or just a connection with someone, is not an easy feat... most guys seem to only be interested in the unattainable. Anyway, I think one needs to learn to accept themselves, first and foremost, before they can readily connect with someone else. Good luck!!

This happens on all ends of the spectrum. Gay chubs and Bears are arguably some of the most discriminatory groups to date. Not just about physique (if you're not overweight with body hair, you're practically invisible. Not only that, you have to be the right kind of fat, which baffles me still), but also heavily judged on race and perceived masculinity. The twinks and muscle gays aren't the only ones guilty of body shaming. Bottom line is that everyone is going to have something to say, regardless of what you look like.

I dont date any gym guys. Im 51 and Im stocky. I date other men that look like myself. Theyre still good looking, just a little overweight. Most guys my age want younger muscle guys. Ive had great sex and great relationships with regular guys that don't go to the gym.

I'm a 60-year blind man and I have embraced my age and don't give a toss what others may think of my body. I'm happy in my skin and that's all that matters. True friends don't care what I look like, they love me regardless.

Total relative positioning via object 'body' relations ... But surely if people judge another on thier weight, ugly, etc it is a projection, which is of course easier, than assimilation. Rejection is simply a form of projection coming from insecurity. Are almost all things find Thier osmosis in insecurity. What about humour, authenticity, inner beauty, charisma and emotional intelligence not vanity and physicality. Sex we are homosexuals, so sex and body makes sense, but I think most guy are secretly, deeply sensualists. Maybe we could be called homosensuals :) Thankyou Ken.

We really need to stop calling it the gay community. There is no communal integration whatsoever. We’re simply a group of cliques, each thinking they’re superior to the others.

Very interesting video. I've been dealing with great amounts of stress in relation with how my body looks since i was a teenager. I'm 35 now, I do feel better and more confident about how I look but muscled guys cause me weird feeling of anxiety and shame to be around. I feel like I've failed and that I should look like them. I'm gay btw I think gay porn has something to do with it too
