This is my favorite melody for this mantra and this is my favorite rendition of this mantra and this along with the mahamantra is my favorite mantra. And when Mooji looks at the camera, his eyes full of tears of compassion, I just lose it.

The Guytri Mantra is the oldest (OVER 5000 years old) and MOST POWERFUL MANTRA ON EARTH! You can say this mantra super fast or slow it is amazing at any speed. I say it as a la la bye to crying babies. Its amazing how it soothes them so quickly! This is definitly one of the most beautiful versions I have heard!

OM - God's dial tone. BHU BHUVA SWAHA - 3 levels of God's office (earth, space, heaven) TAT SAVITUR VARENYAM - God's designation (That Sun-like Admirable One) BHARGO DEVASYA - God's KRA as the bright remover of ignorance. DHIMAHI DHIYO YO NAH PRACHODAYA - Then we convery the message - that we are meditating(DHIMAHI) to that enlightened body to achieve the intelligence(DHIYO) that will enlighten us. So the end goal is wisdom and enlightenment. PRACHODAYA literally would mean East- Rise. Meaning enlightenment like sun rise. This is a very layered and metaphorical mantra. It is all about journey from ignorance to intellect.

It should be chanted with pure mind without any wish or desire. Simply chant daily and feel the benefits yourself

I am sorry for my English, but I want to tell to Radical Devotion that this version is really magical. And the final part in which you vibrate Shanti Om is the only thing in the entire world of mantras etc. that moves me to tears, like gentling destroying the wall I have inside me. I cannot explain it, but I wish I had a long version of this piece of art. I go back and listen to that so many times, I feel it like a sound track of my soul wanting to stop all the violence I live . It s like a rescue, a prayer from the very pure side of me, like all the Buddhists together , all petals of the same flower supporting me.
