The Dollar Tree has thin elastic headbands that might be better than the rubber bands or binder clips. When I am able to get a printer and download digitales I have so much idea saved of yours, I can fill a room with JOURNALS!! 💜 In the meantime I'm working on building my ephemera and really enjoying watching your magic. Oh my gosh Gayle....I'm such a 'newbie' I think that every collage you do is beautiful before you even finish it. I'm thinking that you put a lovely piece of paper on that page and the artist's paper is awesome just as is. All the kits are pieces of art on their own and thank you!!! for sharing their work and their shops with us. There is now way I would find them on my own. .....But then you go and say....'I think I need something here in this corner'. And then you add a label or a stamp or a bird....and it's beautiful! But I wouldn't have even seen it - but you do. You are so talented and inspire me so much. Thank you.

I haven't been online for a few days, headaches again, and missed you so much. My husband told me to get on and talk to Gayle and it would make me feel better. I'm sure it would of too. Today I spent the morning tea dying paper, all different things, it was so fun but then it hit me hard and I had to sit and relax. You should try using a thin headband instead of a rubber band. I use them to hold my journals together before I sew them. I got the idea off of Amy Johnson's site.Thank you for all of your great videos.

Loving the book. I'm actually behind in videos as its been crazy here in Australia on the East Coast. We have catastrophic fires here and we've been on alert. The closest one that got to us was 3km away but it was dealt with very fast. We are safe in our area at the moment but there is so many fires still and devastation 😢 Watching your vides bring calm, peace and a giggle. Thankyou Gayle ❤️

The book is turning out so beautiful. I like that you have many different styles of paper so each 2 pages looks unique. You have an amazing stash but that means a lot of stuff to keep organized. You seem to be great at that too.

I can’t believe how much our lives are alike. Often you will talk about things that are similar to what is happening in my life but today I honestly thought that you heard my conversation with a friend. I know that you tape ahead of time so this is impossible though. I have 2 houses in my yard and today I was mentioning to a friend that if it wouldn’t cost so much I would fix the other house up and have people book it for retreats. Then I am watching your video as I do every day and what do you start talking about...it gives me goosebumps. It’s freaky...but in a good way😂 Winona

You could try the big plastic clothes pin, dollar store has them. I use them to hold papers. The petunias I leave in the ground and let the leaves cover them still the spring; it’s a blanket for the plants. I don’t know if you can do that in Montana where it’s much colder. It’s nice the book cover is red and plain. 👍🎄🎄🎄

This is turning out so nice what a great way to record Christmas memories. Crafting in your pajamas just feels good doesn’t it?!

Instead of the rubber band or clips, you could try one of the stretchy hairbands that are about one inch wide, and available at the dollar store. Journal is great!

That has been my dream to have a bed and breakfast Craft house.

I cut out around 200 butterflies and now cutting out leaves. ❤❤ The Christmas altered book is looking fantabulous. If you have a small wreath stamp you could stamp that around the number 25. put a strip of rubbery shelf liner on the back of your ruler and it won't slide all over your glass mat. Worked for me...

Maybe if you do a couple of circles around the “25” on the bingo card, you could go over one of the circles with that red glitter glue stickles stuff, if you have some...? 😍

I love everything you did today gayle! i'm a little frustrated with mine atm... i think i might throw in the towel and just enjoy watching you make one. i wanted to keep it simple and just cover the pages with a variety of Christmas gift wrap, i cut a bunch of pieces a little bigger than the pages and felt like it would be fun and easy to just glue those onto the pages, trim off the excess from sides. tops/bottoms. not sure how i made something as simple as that end up being so complicated but i'm not thrilled with the results AND i glued the fold down pages together before backing the open side 😲 i used too much glue on the top/side pocket pages so the openings are weird. maybe i'll take my Xacto knife to it tomorrow, remove the pages, and make them into tags and journal cards. i might even use the extra torn out pages to make a ring bound journal. i could make the top/side pocket pages, folded down pocket pages, and decorate with Christmas gift wrap/tissue paper, napkins, punch holes and have a ring bound journal-would be good for December Daily. I think the making of my altered Christmas book is like trying to pull petunias out of the frozen ground 😕 but i LOVE watching you work in yours 💖
