Oh no! Another rabbit hole to go down!😂😂😂 I have heard of gelli printing but did not know what it was. Watched this video and when you put the baby powder on, I was thinking….what is going on? I must say this is a new technique to me. I’ve never heard of putting baby powder on the gelli plate and I just love how your prints came out. I’m leaving today on a trip back home to Ohio from Texas to see family but I know what I’ll be doing as soon as I’m back home…lol. I think I want to try some light blues to see if I can make a page look like a sky with snowflakes. Thanks so much for this fun video and take care! 🥰

This technique is so much fun 🎉 I did it a while back, but want to play some more with it. I hope you had a delightful day. We visited my in-laws. They live an hour and fifteen minutes away. my thinking is to do a "Stary Night" journal with the powder technique-use your art on one side and journal on the white side -all you tickets too. Add romantic pic, stars and planets stickers, nighttime animals

Good morning my friend, I'm finally back home. This is one of my favorite things to do on my gel plate and I have a couple of videos on it. I also have used instant tea for a grungy look Gayle try that some time it's super fun. I am doing both again this weak. I loved watching this so much . I know you've already videoed tomorrows but that pink you ended with would look fab with a dark blue over it. I really do like the baby powder effect. I believe this may be my favorite gelli printing I have seen you do. Have you by chance seen the gelli print leaves with veins that Sara Lee Armstrong has done? If you are familiar with that process, please show us how to do them. She says she is going to do a video but I cannot find one. They are quite unique and fascinating. Great video today. You may be encouraging me to purchase a larger gelli plate. ❤❤❤

@@gayleagostinelli_ct They're amazing. The colors shft to other complimentary colors with the light. They're rather metallic and create great effects. Got mine at Walmart in packs of 4.

What a fun way to get my batteries charged for the day, Gayle! I haven't had my gel plates out in forever. It may have to happen soon. I was thinking about the baby powder thing - do you know, my son is nearly 49 years old, and I still have a bottle of baby powder from when he was tiny. It was a huge container, gifted at his baby shower, along with about three others and we just never used it all. Faron used more in his running shoes than we ever did on Jason's bottom! ;) Do think it goes bad?

Good morning Gayle! Such a great idea, TYFS. I was wondering if you could use material..muslin and get the same print and use it as a cover, can you use fabric paint on the plate? Once they are dry, I’ve mod podged them on a 9 x 12 envelope and made a journal cover that was really cool. Or you can tear them in pieces and put bits in back of clusters or layering. Or you can use them over and over to wipe up messes! 😂❤

Morning Sue! Subscribers are ridiculously down. From 500+ per month to 200. I’ve heard from other channels that YT have changed their algorithms and even the big channels are seeing that their videos aren’t being recommended. Can’t imagine how that’s helping KZfaq. 🤷🏻‍♀️🙄❤
