This guy has an amazing eye for detail. The authentic look of age and wear, without going too far, is remarkable. I'd honestly say he's done the best job I've seen for realism on KZfaq!

I spend ages watching your videos, first to see the whole thing made, and then again to pick up all those little tips and tricks you use and jot them down in a little notebook, with all the colours used under titles like "fading", "rust treatments", "washes" etc. Your production standards are second to none on your video's - so high you could set up in business as a video editor and producer. This model should win every competition it is entered into - the details are phenomenal and the standard of painting is A*****. If I was even half as good as you I would be ecstatic !

Der absolute Hammer! Gehört zu den besten Modellen die ich überhaupt jemals gesehen habe. Wirklich gute Arbeit und auch spannend mal ein (fast) ganz anderes Thema bei dir zu sehen. Bin schon sehr gespannt auf das Diorama dazu :)

Шикарная работа! модель получилась очень живой.у меня есть непосредственный опыт владения газ-66,очень теплые воспоминания. Вы прекрасно передали вид этого автомобиля, находящегося в той среде обитания, для которой был создан.выразили его характер. просто нет слов.к слову,а едет он там, где волки ходить в туалет боятся.единственное,для достоверности внешнего вида композиции в целом,есть нюанс с окраской двигателя. и задний свес, сразу потерян будет. браво!!! 👏

Легендарный советский "проходимец", отличная и тонкая работа! Единственно, на экспедиционных авто, как правило, ставили дополнительный свет на крыше, так называемую "люстру" из 4-8 дополнительных фар. Было бы брутальнее!!!

В Афганистане - такие машины назвали Барбухайками. Сильно навьюченные, увесисто набитые всем возможным добром, с условиями остановки и отдыха. Даже спальные места в жаркую ночь выделялись на крышах машин, а от знойного солнца укрывались в кузове. от самого названия, там и бухали (выпивали после стрессов) . Лайк -за качественную работу!

I assume you built it yourself from that laser machine, any pointers how I could possibly get something like that in 1/10 scale? Theres a few for sale made from 3d printing, but the detail on them is just garbage. Thanks.

зато теперь полное ощущение что ты НЕ русский. 1. ГАЗ-66 с голубой кабиной - очень смешно, это в каком году их выпускали и сколько выпустили? Ну давай год и количество, если в 1995 году производство прекратили полностью? 2. все знают что есть КУНГ, ну кроме тех дебилов которые свято верят что кто-то будет ставить на 66-й сарай. а вот тут всё сильно интереснее, бортовых 66 ещё меньше чем с кунгом, голубых 66 даже не знаю сколько - машина просто нереальная - вот так и палятся вражеские агенты, Штирлиц бы точно сразу вычислил врага. 3. генератор бензиновый - он не наш. точно видно. и даже не кетайский, и снаружи и ничем не примотан и не приварен... стырят сразу. как и канистры. и канистр всего 2. 40 литров бенза на генератор и на мотоцикл? а сколько жрёт 66-й? 30-40 литров по дороге и хз сколько по говнам? баки знаешь какие у 66-го? всего 2 по 105 литров... всего 210 литров... кстати - канистры американские а не "советские" надо было автору немного поизучать историю то, и канистры брать немецкие на нашу советскую технику. именно они у нас... 4. вот та лавка сзади - ну она ничего кроме как про неадекватность строящего не говорит. ты даже с бордюра не съедешь с ней. не говоря о простой лесной дороге с небольшой колеёй. и назад не сдаш. в итоге - поделка конечно красивая, но нереалистичная от слова совсем. P.S. У 66-го которым часто пользуются крыло блестит а не ржавое по гребно, там до металла краска на первых сотнях км слазит. не может там ржавчины быть... так что вот вас то козачков засланных и вычислили.

@@Koopizoid Чувак лес только на фото видел, данный деревянный сарай через 3 км. развалится, или его ветки растащат. На кабину никогда ничего не ставили, так как ее регулярно поднимали, запаришься каждый раз вещи перекладывать. Насчет голубой кабины, они были но очень редко. Мой отец в 1990 году перегнал в колхоз два таких 66., из Иркутска, и кабины у них были голубые. Тогда экспериментировали походу, так как он пригонял Урал и он, внимание, был БЕНЗИНОВЫЙ!

@@user-gc7qy9iz9y тихо, там кабину не откинуть по другой причине - сарай слишком близко к кабине) то что оно развалится - пока промолчим, он не видел как гнутся и выгибаются кузова кунги и рамы как крутит просто при старте или при бездорожье. голубые кабины признак типа гражданского варианта? но гражданские может с перестройки и появились. но чтобы массово... Урал не эксперементировали, а УРАЛ -375 был бензиновым потому что: 1. небыло дизеля высокой мощности, и туда впихнули что есть - ЗиЛ-овский мотор. 2. доктрина военная была наступательная, а в европе типа с соляркой была проблема, ну вот поэтому все двигатели у нас и были бензиновые, но в уралом было прикольно ещё и то что он заправлялся 93 бензином))) и расход под 50 литров для бортового. с кунгом ещё выше.

As a career - and long retired - Army intelligence officer, the GaZ-66 was one of my and my colleagues favorite vehicles. We even imagined a Soviet version of the iconic American TV program "Route 66." In this version, rather than driving a Corvette, two ex-soldier shared adventure criss-crossing the country in their GaZ-66. What a remarkable, work-horse vehicle!

Mir fiel beim Betrachten des Atmen schwer. Grandiose Leistung, und zwar sowohl künstlerisch, technisch, handwerklich und der Umsetzung in ein Video. Nach dem Aufsetzen der Kabine und dem Schwenken auf dem Zewa-Tuch, dachte ich, das Modell sei fertig und wollte gerade zum Schreiben meiner Begeisterung ansetzen. Da geht es noch weiter und Du gibst meiner Modellbauerseele damit den Rest: ich will nur 10% von dem können, was Du kannst. Nur 10%!! Ich vermute, ich werde nie dahin kommen. Danke für´s Zeigen

Lots of stuff you didn't show how to do ! A very well equipped lorry, with it seems everything it needs but not a shovel or a pick or a spanner nor a tool box nor even a winch cable in sight plus the amount of wood and metal you have put on this truck it would be lucky to make 12 mph, and if I was driving it I would just leave it and ride the motorcycle, I would get a lot further! I think this video was just meant to show of your scratch building skills,....So well done and how wonderful you are at this!!!!
