Gaz and his band are very very good live. Gaz is a class act. Annoying that lesser talent gets more success, not mentioning any names.

Been listening to Gaz's music since the early days of super grass,this man is a brilliant song writer we need this back in British music! I'm 45 and still listening every day cheers mate👍

Best thing I can say about this is that I was never a Supergrass fan at all. It’s not bad music, it’s just not my cup of tea and that’s perfectly fine. A friend said “You’ve got to listen to this”. It was the title track from Matador and was blown away, then again when I found out it was Gaz. Absolutely one of my favourite artists. Such a talented and versatile songwriter.

Ah yes, the drums contributes a lot to the song...not the only Gaz Coombes song where I'm amazed by the drums.

I've seen Gaz Coombes at La GaÎté Lyrique in Paris in october 2015 : one of the best live performances I have ever experienced

El líder de los gamberros Supergrass ahora tiene una carrera en solitario. En 2010 se encontró sin banda y con la treintena ya superada, así que decidió seguir creando rock, pero ya bastante más sosegado. Arrancó con "Here come the bombs" (2012)con un ejercicio arriesgado en el que optaba por el sonido electrónico. En esa senda sigue y con "Matador" vuelve a bucear en un tono más experimental. No es fácil sobrevivir a aquella notable banda que en los años 90 agito la escena británica, con muy buenas ideas. Gaz Coombes es ahora más melancólico, nos cuenta qué significa hacerse mayor y cómo sobrevir a la edad, lo hace con sintetizadores y mucha pasión como lo demuestra en la espléndida "20/20", "Buffalo", "The english ruse" o la muy bowiana "The girl who fell to earth". Música independiente novedades.

Gaz Coombes est très certainement le meilleur auteur compositeur Britannique de sa génération, rien a envié a Mr Gallagher ,un petit génie qui n'avait que dix huit ans à la sortie du 1er Album de Supergrass en 1994 ! Super chanteur ,super guitariste ,après 15 ans de super Power Pop avec Supergrass ,Gaz aujourd'hui nous touche avec une musique profonde et frissonnante, rivalisant haut la main avec Radiohead. GAZ IS THE BEST!

Middle part of this song (around 1:45) has a very RadioHead feel. Whole song is really good but really like that part.
