Both the courses at Longhirst are such good value. Challenge in their own right and well maintained and Shola is a legend. Massively underrated, give us some great toon memories

Can’t remember where we were, maybe Tyneside, the Pro saw Shola coming and ran out trying to sell him a new driver 🤣 Hit a drive about 400 yards there once… frozen lake defo helped 🤣 The sound of that 50° on the 4th 👌🏽

The Dawson is a lot more forgiving than the Lakes course.Its absolutely brutal if your not a straight hitter!

As far as I know, that was a foul shot in the hazard by Gaz when he stood within the red staked pond, you shouldn't be hitting the club into anything although, I am sure someone with far better knowledge than me will correct my understanding of golf rules

@@ross1b I did notice that too and even said something to my son about that last Friday when we were playing as I noticed him doing that when he played Shola and he was stood in a bunker about to play a shot and put his club into the sand twice before playing the shot. Not saying he’s not a good player but playing properly is part of golf and little things like that aren’t right and can make a difference too.
