You can cancel a normal into spot dodge if you hit armor and get a free punish even if she special cancels. Or just throw the wake-up. Just gotta keep that reversal and your response to it in your mental stack so you can react when it happens.

@@PokemonmovemasterYou're best bet is to just block it and mash whatever she does next. There's enough of a gap after the DP to punish before Death does any follow ups. Still a busted character. I'm taking her to Master to stop people from downplaying her. Already reached S+.

Ok, what if Nier's armor reversal and the invincible one were swapped so that she has a normal dp but she can choose to spend meter to get a reward. I know it would still be better than any other dp but at least its not free. Or maybe im dumb idk

Yes, unironically because you get more hits in between. supper is better if it kills so you don't randomly risk dropping combos.

Yes but that combo in particular is not the optimal version though.

@@Duarte_GB That makes no sense. It's about the damage, not the number of hits. You could have 100 hits, but if they dealt 100 damage each (before scaling), the end result would be worthless. Besides, I find it hard to believe it's worth 2,400 self damage.

@@protodot2051 it's worth if it kills the enemy, simple as. You get hit once by avatar belial at 50% and die to this. Now should the AB use this as a starter combo? Idk depends on how insane they are most of the time you use less self damaging combos to get them to the threshold before unloading this on them. Like the other comment mentioned this ain't the optimal version the optimal one does more DMG. But even pro ABs use this from round start and 2 combo a match sometimes.
