Seems patently obvious to me why there must be rules. Feet up, so you don't accidentally get your foot dragged under the inflatable and get violently flipped, with a potentially broken leg. Or worse injuries.

I’m a lifeguard and ride op at my water park, we have a ride like this, you guys really have to listen to us when we tell you the rules, how to sit, what you can and can’t have, because it could be the difference of injury, falling out of the ride, or a fun day at the water park.
