Note we discovered after the video, that the black meter lead was cut and that's why we were not getting readings sometimes, Sorry

I have a GE washer that if not this model is very close. Long story short it stopped draining. I found OHM specs for the drain pump and it was out of spec. I am a DIY guy BTW. I ordered a new OEM pump and the new pump wouldn't drain. I also found the technician codes and tried them to no avail. I did check the new pump and it was in spec. I thought about the only thing that could cause this was the board. I removed the board I believe it had 17 connectors never saw anything like that before. It had a huge burn mark on it. I replaced the board and programmed it for my model. Just like new again. I suspect the board fried the drain pump. Does that sound right to you? I have pics of the board and it looked to be around the drain pump circuit which would make sense.

Usually the drain pump fries the board, ( in my experience) this happens a lot with whirlpool top load washers. You should always check power before replacing parts. Also, something can be in ohms spec and still not work. But check power at pump 1st, then check ohms of pump. Ladder looks something like this: Check power at pump {if power}> check ohms of pump {if no power} > check power out of board pins {if none} replace board {if proper power} > check harness by checking ohms of drain pump circuit. I check them all anyway because finding a bad component doesn't mean you found the problem. Ask me how I know lol
