As a short guy the struggle is real when it comes to rods. I battle with 14ft rods. 12ft I can cast 150m+ where as the 14ft I can barely get 120m. Can't drop the rod tip low enough on the beach to get the action out of it.

Preaching to the converted dude, I'm full on Hobbit sized. Have to find the right rod that works for you.

Guess we have no choice but to have custom rods built or take a pedestal with to the beach to cast from😅
