It is. I have learned a lot over the last few packs and it is great having a pack with everything where I want it

Great summary of everything you need! Nice weight too. The compression bandage for snakebite made me anxious though! Stay safe out there.

Thanks Mick. It is pretty comfortable on my training hikes, though the longest has only been 2 hours.

Yes, the pantiliner is a useful addition to a first aid kit -- I fell a couple of years ago and it was just the right size for my leg scrape!

I have a sachet of anti-histamine for bad bites but generally I don't put anything on insect bites.

Maybe a headnet for fly's and mosquitoes ?

I have it with my clothing System. Definitely expect to need it.
