You went vertical...brilliant! Shame I was watching the replay on a Mac but came in handy having you vertically next to Chrome;)

You can have the same vertical livestream feed into various other platforms and not just YT? Makes it a lot easier and time-efficient to cut clips for repurposing the initial effort/stream and using as short social video posts? Depending on the time of day eg in UK I’m usually still working when you go live or I Ty er parts of world maybe ppl are playing my bit live whilst driving/commuting back home from work - convenient for viewer? But what if your YT analytics tell you the majority of livestream viewers are watching on smart TVs or computers? Then you might not want to go vertical all the time as the viewer experience for the majority would be 16:9 instead of 9:16. However, is it fair to assume you want minimal hurdles to make this consistent and deliver weekly? Then you’ve got to do what ultimately works for you and makes you a productive KZfaqr above all else imho:)

Great Live. How do we get notified about these ahead of time? I share your perspective on gear. Have you tried a cine saddle? If so how does it compare to an easyrig? I use it as light weight mobile stabilizer that I wear around my neck.

Best way is probably to sign up to the newsletter or download one of my guides cause I try to send an email 30 min before. But I do post on social media say before and on the day as well. Facebook, instagram, x and LinkedIn. But since the algorithm doesn’t always give that info it’s hard. I will try to still to same time on Thursdays though. But next Thursday I’ll be on a shoot so not sure if I can do it then. I haven’t tried the cine saddle, feel like it makes most sense on bigger crewed shoots etc. but the easyrig or copycats of it offers basically same thing as a steady cam or a gimbal in terms of moving around and stabilizing but it has a handheld look rather than the perfect gimbal or steady cam look. So it’s perfectly rough :) but it’s for bigger cameras. I have the minimax which is their smaller one which works well with a pocket 4k type of rig but for bigger cinema cameras with heavy lenses it might be to light.
