I saw how you were carrying your rifle while running. In my run and guns here in Texas, I've found that shifting the sling so it's in contact with the left side of your neck, then sticking your right arm through the loop lets you grab just forward of the receiver and carry in an extremely natural position for running, with the receiver held in your arm pit. To get back to firing position, you just pull your right arm out of the loop and shift your left arm in. It's very fast, very comfortable, and I recently ran 10km+ with a rifle in that position. I expect it would work as well for an AK as an AR.

Every one of your competitions videos were awesome and teached us a lot. Also, adding so much running makes sense because being able to move is primordial, even with a plate carrier. Can't wait for the competition vidéo !

somehow I always really liked the carbine AKs of the 102/104/105 type. Also really like the skeleton stock from the AKS-74. Light but sturdy.

My only complaint with Arex Delta is the red dot adapter plates. There's got to be a much better way to direct mount (or at least a titanium plate) so that the threads can take a bit more punishment. I had my screws walk loose on my RMR and they were (supposed to be) properly torqued by my local Sig armorer.

I think you have to locktide screws on optic mounts, at least for riffles, i have 0 experience with pistol optics.

@@vladimirmihnev9702 the pistol optics come with locktite on the screws... my issue is Arex includes polymer plates to mount optics on the Delta when the best option is titanium or regular steel, just seems they cheaped out... The Arex Rex Zero is amazing, only got my hands on one once, but it felt like a higher quality custom shop sig.

They are ok but leave so much to be desired. That's why we are working towards designing an improved trigger for the AK platform

@@PolenarTactical It's funny: People bitched about the trigger slap on my WASR. It didn't affect me. I thought they were nuts. Then I put a different (US made) repro grip on it. Whipped the piss out of my finger. I put a fatter Hogue grip on it...no slap for anyone. The ALG was a fantastic upgrade. Even with the surplus E. German grip, it's light, but not TOO light. 0 slap. I think what is at play is individual hand size/ grip size & angle and trigger design. No single factor solves all problems. Each must be accounted for with each end user.

Yeah I made my own plate carrier down ties. Out of webbing that go from my belt and clips into the carrier. so it doesn't bounce around anymore it's not to hard to make either. Just something to think about.

You don't have any now. If you really want it, make it a long time goal. Get through the steps, join a club and do some matches until you trust your abilities on safety and fundamentals and maybe a class and then register and go to a brutality match.

Would be cool if they incentivized time on the 3KM runs. If on any round you finish with the best 3K time, you get to have a get out of jail free card when you hit a no shoot, or something like that. Good luck man. I hear it’s pretty brutal….😂

Btw you can still get SAG products, they have an office in Serbia that deals with European customers and they can get stuff shipped from Russia to Serbia and then to the customer. I ordered a mk3 chassis and buffer adapter for my saiga104 in june and it took 4 months for it to get here to Finland. I was apparently the first order the new office in Serbia handled and the customer service was excellent.

Saying it's pink for speed is no mere jest. High visibility leads to faster visual acquisition, and thus greater speed during manipulation. You're also less likely to lose it compared to dark colors in low-light scenarios!

Sadly adidas does not offer tactical gear like trousers or jackets. That would have made the whole outfil much more authentical.

Sweet setup I think one of the biggest things I like about it is that not only is it shorter than your Zastava, the longer handguard, in spite of being, well, longer, actually looks lighter and probably would work well for length of pull even with a shorter setting on the stock. And while I figured you've had the best of luck with your TWS rail with the Zastava, I imagine that it was also a further consideration of weight and utility. If you only had a choice between your Zastava and this AK, which would be the pick?
