Dude yes!!! We use kaizen foam for all of our toolboxes and even our products in tac cases. I recommend to get the fast cap specific kaizen sharpie and their thin knife blades. Makes it way easier.

Is that foam oil safe? Don't want contact with CLP or some kind of lubricant to have some adverse reaction.

What kind of foam is that at the top of the box? (The pyramid style one.)

Great use of the foam, I did this with my rifle case due to the ridiculous price for Pelican brand foam. Super easy to cut, and as another commenter noted, heat up the blade and it comes out looking even better. Also, not to be a douche, but AustriAlpin is actually a Canadian company Cheers and thanks for the great vids!

FYI, if you need to add LOP to that Grayboe, the McMillan A5 spacer kit works pretty well, screws right in the old butt pads screw holes, with slight modification to the base plate to contour to the slightly different dimensions. you would need to fill in a couple holes to use the wood screws, but I don't see the need to use them.

one more thing that you can carve out is finger thumb cutout's so you can pluck from the foam your goods. it's needed if you goods rest below the surface of the foam. you might ask why I would cutout where the tool rest below the surface. not every case offer's much foam above in the lid. making issues when you try to close it up. but I like the foam for making a tool chest organizers.

You could use the extra buckle to hang your belt, for a bump in the night type scenario,or in a safe or even your pelican gun case for your 3-Gun belt.

Heat your blade up right before you cut the foam. Creates a really nice finish and super easy to cut.

Cobra buckle could be used for making a rappeling harness with leg looops but you will need a couple of them. Ctoms makes one like that. Thats the expensive option. Also you could have pretty nice dog collar :D if you have one :).

You may want to re-think your ammo placement. If you keep them in that one corner on that one side, weight balenciaga is gonna be all off. You may want to think about spreading the weight through the the entire case. Thanks for the awesome videos, please keep them coming

I have always thought that kaizen foam has hivisiblity inside so you easily do visual check that everything is where they are meant to be. This is used atleast in automotive industry.

You may want to flip the rifle so that the optic isn't towards the hinge. That way should you drop it while carrying it or set it down hard, the weight of the rifle itself isn't bearing against the optic. Knowing how airlines handle baggage, you can be sure they won't be easy on your shit.

SSSquirell is correct, always place your optic on the handle side just in case it gets dropped, the weight on the gun doesnt fall on your optic. Just bc it's inside the case, you still want to protect your expensive optics.

You may actually want to consider flipping your entire internal design, that way all of that ammo weight would be down toward the wheels on your case where it truly belongs.

Can you post a link to the Ninja Tire puncture things? Those look like they could come in handy. I had a teenage turd who used to drive up on my yard and dig ruts in the grass. A few of those sprinkled on the lawn would have helped.

Also called Tetsubishi in Japanese. Ninjas did actually use these gadgets to slow down pursuers if they were discovered. Oldie but goodie.

Look into a "carpet knife". They have long, crazy sharp blades. Blade looks like an old "injector" style razor blade. If you cut yourself with one you'll reach bone, so be safe.
