@jarrettowens6073 Nah it was Locust. He already had nothing to fight for since the Locust took his Wife and kids by the time the Lambent came, he was already finished

I do! Waiting for a higher quality version to be shared by The Coalition, MS, or Blur studio. One that isn't the KZfaq version. I have high hopes Blur will share it on Vimeo, which has much, much less compression than YT.

@DogeSaitamaBattlegrounds 100% agree. The games previously felt more grounded and gritty and the gears actually felt like huge brick shit houses. Now the battles look like the cog are having fun and just care about cringe one liners

My top 3 goes as followed: 1. Ashes to Ashes - Seeing Dom give up and Marcus briefly looks at him knowing he wanted to die was heart wrenching but Delta saves him and isn’t gonna let him go out like that. Not to mention it shows how the Lambent are possibly even a bigger threat than the Locust as even they’re diverting their fire towards the Lambent (we shoulda had more Gears vs Locust vs Lambent in the game tbh). Plus you get to see how the Hammer strikes affected the cities that were hit only for it to arguably be in vain since the war continued for another 17 years. 2. Tomorrow - 4 mighta been a subpar game but this trailer was PEAK. The Tomorrow the Gears fought for was ruined yet again by the Locust but at least there was an era of peace though it was brief. Seeing JD find that momentary relief behind his tree only to be forced back into the fight was a top tier moment and makes me disappointed Kait was the main character in 5 he had a lotta untapped potential 3. Dust to Dust - You get a brief showing of Gears history with RAAM, the flood and with the society collapsing showing that “everyone is stranded now” (kinda disappointed Skorge didn’t show up though) and more Gears vs Locust vs Lambent action

I played the first trilogy a little bit and enjoyed it when I was in high school, but with these trailers I can clearly see why people didn't like the next set of games. The premises just did not live up to what the world gave us previously.

Nothing can top Ashes to Ashes, it foreshadows Dom's Death, I guessed it at the time and even then his death was just depressing to witness In-Game.

Marcus and Dom's faces from the fully polished Gears of War back in 2006 reflect the real emptiness and cold of going through war, they felt more real. Since then and with each new version of the game, other teams have made their faces lose that, the whole vibe is just not the same anymore.

Regresando de ver el epico trailer de Gears of War E-DAY, Esta saga fue una de mis favoritas empezando con el Gears of War 3 que fue el primero que tuve junto con la Xbox 360, inclusive los trailers me parecieron fenomenales y tambien que te llegan al alma con el mensaje de "Hermanos hasta el final." Y luego con la muerte de Dom me dolio MUCHO MAS, una saga maravillosa la verdad y un alivio poder volver a Dom una vez mas junto a Marcus.
