C'mon give us the 4th carmine brother in this game. We know he lives at the end of gears 3. Give Him and clayton 1 chapter.

I'd like to see Cole coming out to the Thrashball field announcing he's joining the Gears, sending the recruitment numbers skyrocketing in a cutscene. I look forward to all sorts of different characters finally being represented in the games. Past versions of characters will be nice as well.

Id like to see Gabe Diaz make an appearance in some way. It would be a good way to make people care a little bit more about Kait when they eventually do go back to Gears 6.

I just got done playing raams shadow and i realized everyone except Jace died at some point. Crazy.

Adam Fenix and his Wife are likely to appear because We need to explore how Adam's Wife found the Locust Hive that led to her Mysterious Death and How Adam Fenix met the Locust Queen.

We need a DLC story where we see in the point of view of Paduk on Eday and see how the UIR responded, that would be insanely exciting.

We know many of these characters dont meet each other until years later, either throughout the campaign or bonuse chapters, show us the perspective of others on E-day. Young carmine brothers escaping the chaos, Garron Paduk during the fall of Gorasnia, Cole's speech at hanover stadium etc....

We should definitely see Chairman Thomas Dalyell appear on tv at least with Richard Prescott lingering behind him, looking to take over.

I can't wait to see John War kill the Locust.

The first few chapters should be fairly chill, exploring post-pendulum wars life. Halfway through the game it would be sick to see Cole Train on TV announcing that he will join the COG.

The four members of Delta squad are the iconic team, no need to be sad they're not in the game. I think it's cool because it shows that Baird and cole are dealing with their own role in the war. It would be awesome when you're in a part of the game and you just hear Baird on the radio and seeing him saving Marcus and his squad. It's also a good way to give other characters both from the expended stuff and new characters time to shine. It is a shame Michael Barrick won't be in, he's a awesome character I would love to see more of. Oh well, maybe a future game.

I hope Rojas from Alpha Squad makes an appearance. It would be nice to elaborate on that character from gears 1 👍

They should have a cutscene where cole is playing football on eday. And a giant corpser comes out the ground in the middle of the field

It’s Gears tradition to have a Carmine in your game. (Hear that GOW: Judgement & Gears tactics) Speaking of which, would love to see maybe a cameo of Gabriel Diaz. Sid Redburn could also appear in the game or even Oscar Diaz. I’d also love to see more of the Onyx guard and UIR if possible.

We need stranded multiplayer characters like chaps and frank.

I hope the game will focus on at least two different squads just so they can have characters appear and have a big role even if they might not suppose to meeet some of the others for a while after this game is set.

We'll see our favourite characters in MP/PvE modes I'm sure but whoever we get I'll be happy with! Just seeing the resurgence in the franchise was awesome to see but a new installment is a whole new level of insanity. Fingers crossed for some Gabe Diaz scenes! I wanna see Reyna and Niles Samson!

The personalities in delta are all great they feed eachother so perfectly id love to have spin off dlc from different perspectives from eday id love to see dizzy as a strandard

I hope the game doesn't only take place on one day or in one city. I would love to see how the entire planet is affected. One idea I have are DLCs of Cities and what happened there. It could just be like a 1 mission DLC, just something to show the characters and how the war started. Because if it was one city then it would feel very linear even though it happened in like every city on the planet, and if it was only one day... that's only one day out of 17 years. At least give us time to feel the affect of the war and how important and impactful E-Day was.

With the Carmine involvement, I think it could be cool if it's Clayton as he could be a recruit and could be the beginning of his nickname of 'Grub Killer'. Perhaps it could be Marcus and Dom hearing his squad is nearby and are in need of backup, only to turn up and find that Clayton is the only one alive or the rest are wounded and yet held off all the Locust that were attacking his squad all by his self. But it could also be cool to see either the fourth Carmine brother or, as you said, the father of the Carmine brothers as he could potentially be veteran of the pendulum wars and could potentially be bit of a badass like Clayton maybe gives his life to save the others.

Honestly it could be a collection of all the characters and what they went through on e day new and old

Even if some of these characters don't appear we could get references to them or even a DLC to see their story of E-day if they were there

We know Marcus and Dom will be there. Baird could cameo near the end, and Cole could be seen on tv. I'll bet Hoffman and Prescott will be in the game too. Kim could be in there briefly, running his squad to their doom for the Gears 4 intro. Anya is likely to appear as well. So is Maria and Dom's kids in the beginning. Possibly even his parents. Adam Fenix is possible as well. Queen Myrrah is possible if she is seen giving a pre-war speech to the Horde. Standing next to her could be RAAM.

Only reason i dont think we will see a lot of characters is that the game takes place over the course of multiple days in the city during the events of E-Day. Same with the the Lancer MK 2, it wasnt until almost a year until Tai became the inspiration for it. Im curious to see if they will follow the cannon set in the books or end up doing their own thing. Sad that we won’t see Cole or Baird but either way this is gonna be a good way to see what they did during E-Day probably even before, plus gives me a chance to play GOW on a chronological order.

There is also the possibility of rhetcons and lore changes, we all know it's possible for better or worse. So who knows, I'm just excited to slay some grubs! (Hopefully with a good horde mode and a beast mode as a bonus for multi-player)

I honestly think E Day will work better as a multi-character game than as a linear game like the rest. As much as I’d love to see the whole experience through Marcus’ point of view, we lose out on what everyone else experienced. Maybe, having multiple campaigns like in Judgment could be a method of doing this. Having a main linear campaign where you play as Marcus, and possibly a few side campaigns where you see what Baird, Paduk, or maybe even a Pesang or Vasgarian character saw on E-Day could be an extremely interesting way to do this. Either way, I’m just hyped af.

Hopefully we get to see baird and Cole if they appear :)

Im cool with Baird and Cole missing in the main story but I do hope they get DLC chapters with them as the leads. It would be a huge missed opportunity for those 2 to miss the game that potentially revived the series.

With this being an E-day game I expect it to be like Judgment and only focus on Marcus and Dom, probably Tai and another individual. We may get DLC or other missions focused on Cole and Baird’s first missions.

The characters from 1 to 3 appear in the beginning

Ok I’m gonna try to be a nostradomus and map out this campaign, each act and what we might see, ok so I don’t think that this game will do the whole game just centering on just the first day of E-Day, I think after Gears 4, they probably don’t wanna revolve the story on just a single day, but will we see E-Day, most definitely because of the title lol. Ok so the prologue/tutorial will most definitely be pendulum wars, at aspho fields. We saw Doms perspective, now we will see marcus’ and how he became a legend that day. Carlos will be our Dom, but tragically he will die. After the mission, we will see the hammer strikes and the end of the war. Act 1 well most definitely be the start of E-Day, marcus and dom are probably hitting the town grieving for Carlos but celebrating cause the war is over but ohhhh shit the locust come in the picture and they have to survive E-Day. Act 2 can expand on The first days of E-Day but personally I think this is the act that will introduce the lancer, has to be, Act 3 and 4 I personally think we will see Marcus, Dom, Tai, and padrick being sent to different places to defend against the locust cause, but much like Halo reach, it will just be seen as a lost cause, maybe we can see landfall, maybe Tollen, maybe a new city idk but it will just sink in how screwed humanity is, Act 5, I think might be the most controversial and I could be wrong, but it will go along with the theme of how tight marcus and dom actually are, how they are brothers in arms, I think Act 5, we will see marcus and dom doing a mission but marcus learns that his dad, Adam fenix is undersieged by locust, Hoffman tries to stop marcus but Marcus knocks him out and goes AWOL, dom goes with him cause, but unfortunately when they are there to save Adam, unfortunately it’s too late. I know we saw this take place in the start of Gears 3, but I personally want to expand on it, cause Gears 3 intro was a dream/nightmare experience for Marcus, seeing it play out on next gen hardware would be a spectacle. But anyways the ending plays out, Marcus gets Court martialed, almost sentenced to death but because of Doms testimony, Marcus is spared but he gets sent to the worst Prius in ever, marcus and dom get one last goodbye before marcus is taken away. Fade to black, fade in years have taken place marcus is sitting, and boom we hear “jack rip that door” and it’s dom busting marcus out, leading us right to Gears 1 recreating the intro, maybe with revised dialogue or using the same, doesn’t matter. This would be such a great story to see played out, cause this game is showing the origin of Marcus and dom bromance, and seeing it play out in years is just something I can’t pass on, and having the ending legit be the Gears 1 intro is just poetic. I see Gears E-Day as the halo reach of gears of war, just having humanity fighting a losing battle, but in the era of despair there is still hope. And if you really wanna pull on the heart strings, in a post credit scene, we get transported to years later, Marcus is seen a little older but not Gears 4 and 5 old, but he’s visiting a tombstone, and it reads Dominic Santiago. Marcus talks to dom and expressing his sorrow and how much he misses him, kind of mimicking Doms talk to Maria’s tombstone in gears 3, but then we see Anya, holding a baby and Marcus introduces Doms tombstone to James Dominic Fenix. That would legit bring me to tears and if this were to happen I would legit be so happy, but then whatever they have cooking I’m all for it but man if the story plays out like I’m predicting I would be euphoric and praise Gears E-Day.

I think Cole and Baird should only be mentioned or appear in a scene but not together with Marcus. I feel like this GOW will be a huge hit and Microsoft will have a new trilogy in mind so it covers the E-Day to 14 years until GOW1… this way other characters can be introduced, gamers to feel attached and them lose them too to show how hardened Marcus and Dom are due to what they went through the last 14 years .

Cole Train could get in if the game goes over a few days after the first day emgergence day cause it would be weird for the pacing of a game to only follow a 24 hour period. Like at some point Marcus and Dom get to a military base and Cole shows up with people recognizing him

I could easily see there being a scene where Adam Fenix is trying to get more information about the Locust out since he's one of the few people who already knows what they are and why they're attacking, but the Chairman suppresses Adam's efforts, because fascist military state things.

I don't think another Carmine family member will appear in E-Day, based on Dom and Benjamin's conversation in 2. The conversation implied that Anthony was the only one they served with. Also, what about characters from Tactics like Gabe and Sid? Or perhaps Oscar from 5? Marcus seemed to have a strong connection with Kait in 5, so Gabe and Oscar could make sense, being Kait's family.

I'm just not sure how much stuff from the comics they might show, but that's typically none. So as much as I would like to see the death of Will Carmine as he is the first human casualty of RAAM, I just don't think we'll see him. But a Carmine has to make an appearance in a gears of war game (besides tactics), so I am curious about it.

Hoffman and anya I could definitely on the show as command and recall like we get with gears 1 and 2. Cole I don't think they will unless we see an Easter egg but I could be wrong. Adam fenix I agree needs to be seen. Maria would hurt us but it could be a cutscene where they find out the kids die and they hold eachother. Tia I agree is a must. Other characters I agree could work and a carmine is a must.

I hate to say this, but I think Bard and Cole never had an account with them doing E Day I think they might have their own separatestore line missions or they might be in multiplayer I like to see Abz in the game

If this is based on the books, Baird and Cole won’t be in the CoG until months later

We shouldn’t see coal or beard in e-day and I won’t be surprised if be happy that they actually follow the Lore I’m glad there will be spend more time with Tai and a new character also we shouldn’t see a lot of characters that Marcus and dom never met till later on in the series unless it’s dlc

Yo I have a dumb question, big Gears of War fan and I’ve been watching it videos just listening to the lore and I got to thinking, in one of your videos the locust war history I think, you mentioned how the locust was forced to evolve because they and imulsion in their DNA cause of the countermeasure. Now why did the creatures like the brumacks or corpsers get affected by the weapon if they were native to the hollow and not a result of cog experiments?
