Brent is a genius, I think in his own way he is just so humble that his humility comes out as self-deprecating and sarcastic humor, he knows how phenomenal he is, yet he doesn’t brag about it, as far as the scale/key idk, but I will tell you Mastodon uses A BUNCH of natural harmonics, like opens, etc. they harmonize a lot with the open notes if you check tabs on any random song of theirs you will see a lot. It's Brent Hinds lmao, just who he is. He's doing alot better since he got married sobriety - wise tho. Genuine interviews from him are pretty rare to come by tho, so regardless of if this was supposed to be a gear clinic it's nice to hear him open up with real perspective and hear some life stories cause that never happens. Plus we all already know Orange makes great amps, and that Brent can play. Bill has some great gear interviews you could watch; he usually goes over his gear and Brents.
