Remember right at the final whistle a few decades of mitas evaporating from our shoulders. Then feeling like soldiers returning from war when our supporters bus was applauded all the way into Gorgie from the fans who could not get to the game.

Craig Brown the Scotland manager at the time publicly stated that he was the poor man's Ryan Giggs after leaving him out yet another Scotland squad! This all seemed to be forgotten when he transferred to Rangers and walked straight into the Scotland team that he should have been in years prior.

Just wasn't rangers year hit the post had plenty of chances the rangers penalty claim was more a pen than hearts .. but the gods shown on hearts that day great cup win for the club

Lol was a bit soft but we were due some breaks had to wait a long time winning the cup. Remember that free kick McCoist won at the end looked like the ref had gave the penalty.
