To the people who’re studying to get theirs , you got this , don’t give up !! I suggest you study slopes (that was majority of what was on the test) , inequalities , word problems , quadratic equations, solving for ‘x’ , factoring , very few fraction problems , finding volume / surface area , circumference etc , finding the mean , functions , graph questions , number lines , distributive property , graphing coordinates , simplifying expressions, percentages and polynomials . (I’m based in nyc btw) there were 45 questions in total . The first 5 were no calculator .

@@SeanBuzbee Hello! I was overwhelmed with just the thought of math to the point where I actually started crying one day lol . But I had a lot of free time so my schedule was pretty open to study whenever I wanted to . I noticed what worked for me extremely well was watching videos, but not taking down notes. In my opinion taking down notes while trying to watch the video only caused me more confusion and wasted a lot of time pausing , rewinding and resuming which just wasn’t effective for me. Also motivation that better jobs opportunities will find me was enough to lock in and actually study and focus. Don’t try to do too much in one session either. Start off slowly and gradually. 30 minutes a day is enough. If you can watch KZfaq videos of your favorite influencer you can sit down and watch a few 10 minute math videos to help better your future.

New here very overwhelmed. Went through a long hiring process at a hospital they ultimately rescinded my offer due to no high school diploma. The bright side is that the pain from not getting accepted is pushing me to do this once and for all. I was told get your GED and you have a job. So here I am. Also thankyou for having these videos you are helping people and I am grateful for people like you that are of service to others!

You got this. Practice. Take questions and try and solve them yourself. You can use ours. When the question comes on the screen, pause the video. Don't even let us read it. Read it yourself and solve it. Then watch our solution.

How is graphing done on the GED test taken on a computer? I don't recall it ever being done.

There are several ways based on the question. It's not something you should be concerned about. it is usually clear what to do. They might let you select the line, place two points on the graph that will be automatically joined as a line or other ways.

The cookie part didn’t make sense to break it down so difficult I did it in my head with out a ged or even going to school if she wants to make 36 cookies but the recipe only makes 24 with 2 cups of flower and 1 cup of chips. so she needs 12 more just add 1 cup and a 1/2 cup of chips to make 12 kinda proud of my self

It's correct. How are you getting minus 2. Are you looking at the original point (-2,4)? If so, the work was to find another point, not the same point.

#1 is 1/3 because 6 goes into 18 three times, and 6/6 demonstrates it by turning into 1, not that 6/6 is the reason why 1/3 is the answer.

@@Nocturnal_Ke i take it this saturday and am confident imma pass i honestly recommend starting from scratch and working your way up its what i did and i can confidently say ive gone from hating math to growing a little passion for it just gotta put in the time and effort and youll always get the results

@@brednon2335 i used the asvab book since im going to the military i took it saturday and passed, i passed barely but thats more than enough for me atleast for my experience the majority of questions on the math test are geometry and inequality word questions and math problems so work on that more ( dont take my word for it) i promise youll be ok you just gotta put the hours in and practice on your own time and youll do just fine
