@@ahdgaming8164 But isn't that bad for Redmagic??? Let the damn system give all the power the phone needs to run these very demanding games at max performance. This is a gaming phone, absolute peak performance is to be expected. Especially since this phone has a built in fan so it should be able to handle all the heat generated from higher power consumption. And a massive battery to keep up with the battery drain from all that power consumption. Makes no sense. Redmagic proving once again their software optimization is the worst on the planet.

Try next time with screen recorded to play and record it same like in this video (becouse content creators need that, how phones perform on gaming while screen recorder is on) for the fps drops. How phones can handle FPS while screen recorder is on

As someone who have had rog phones for years. I think asus dropped the ball on this one. I hate that they went mainstream. I don't really mind a hole punch display, but the missing ultrasonic triggers and the missing frontfirering speakers. I think they p*ssed all over their core audience

It does and surpasses the iPhone. The iPhone starts strong but loses a third of its performance as soon as it heats up. This phone keeps almost all of its performance even after long gaming sessions. That's why it's a gaming phone.

@@thepunisher1917 yeah but still its really sad we only see those insane games only optimized for iphones 😕 surley sd 8 gen3 has insane power but it would've been better if we could see the 120 fps on android or at least 60 fps with no lag 🥲i have s23 ultra i can play the game on 55 fps for at least one hour but this fps drops on some moments are so annoying tbh

@@INCOGNITO-kd5ub The Rog Phone 8 Pro is very disappointing. The performance is maybe better than Red Magic 9 Pro but when it comes to design, battery , camera placement and speaker placement, it is awful. I think Red Magic 9 Pro has the best design for a gaming smartphone
