Imo when it comes to payday 3, its nice they are taking notes from payday 1. (Cloakers running on walls originates from the first game) but yes the progression isnt really good and the always online kinda stinks. But the server problems (where most people left negative reviews and abandoned the game) are near completely fixed now (ive only just had my first crash since launch). Another thing is that comparing a game that got 10 years of updates to a game thats only a month old is kinda really unfair. The thing i do agree with a ton in your heist criticism of payday 3 is that it needed a "rats" kind of heist. (A super complex one) but overall good video and review

Hey thanks! Yeah I hope they add some complex heists to 3 And while I did compare a 1 month game to a 10 year game I’d say though that even looking at these games at launch vs now I’d rank these games the same. Payday 2s launch was just a bit better than 3 server issues aside. And great note about the cloakers! Totally forgot about that

Good job, my man. I haven't played the game, but I will probably consider it now. BTW, have you played the dying light series ? I just wonder which you prefer between dying light 2 and dead Island 2. Any case nice video

Honestly harder than I imagined. Would prob go with dying light 2 still though. However, Dead island 2 was still solid

@TotallyTubularJonathan I thought the parkour in dying light 2 was pretty legendary, but the combat was crap. Dead Island 2 has a really fun combat, but it lacks depth

Quite curious, do you think is mandatory to play with friends in order to finish a heist, or you can play with random people or bots? As always, great ranking. I would recommend the Halo campaigns as a ranking video.

I do not think it is mandatory but it sure is a lot more fun! And funny enough I ranked the halo campaigns ages ago. I am going to redo it though with the spin-offs as well like halo wars

I played payday 1 and to me its a nice improvement on payday 3

I was super excited for Payday 3. When it launched it was a decent game but all the points you mention here are why I don’t want to continue playing it. The progression is just terrible-payday 2 did it better. Mainly there’s just no heists to play! They want you to grind Road Rage 24/7 to make any kind of decent money and the other heists aren’t that good either and there’s not that many of them. The only heist I genuinely enjoy playing is Dirty Ice and even then Payday 2 just had better heists and not to mention more heists. Now I don’t even touch 3 because it’s almost like a chore to play instead of a fun experience like 2 gave me

Idk personally I would put payday 3 as 2nd the heist hasn’t aged the best and with all of its content being in payday 2 and offering more freedom I don’t see much of a reason to play it plus payday 3 does have some nice systems what makes it better ultimately then the heist I would even say it has better then features then 2 in some aspects and ik this was uploaded before the recent changes but even then the launch had some good features and additions despite the bad launch
