I think the main thing I took from this was smoothing the rough bits, I always got so worried about them and then I don't scrape enough away and end up with stuff that looks too soft. Great video mate!

I'd love to order a terrain makers starter kit. Some small sizes of base ready, flock, and compound as a kickin off point.

Got to say I always think I'm losing too much of the bark details, but seeing how much you covered and it came out even better showed where I was going wrong haha

This is a perfect video: it's concise and it gets straight to what it sets out to do. Also relevant to me as I picked up some modelling compound for my last board build and am very much in the 'figuring out' stage with it so this was a great resource. Cheers!

Nice to see you decided to make this video after all :) Great job man, I'll link it on my discord for my patrons, I quite often get asked about exactly what you've talked about here!

Love those pieces of bark, light weight and very convincing rocks without having to mess around with rock moulds. My favourite part of any any terrain build is always adding the tufts. Are the ones in the vid new?

Very useful and informative video. I've seen a zillion terrain videos but no one ever seems to actually show you in detail how to work modeling compound.

Nice relaxing video Luke. you make it look simple, but we all know that with anything less than geek gaming scenics products, getting those results would be an absolute nightmare :)

Not reusing a container that already has left over compound in it is a huge point. I did some rudamentary terrain a while back with it and I was confused why I had my subsequent batches were drying within 2 - 3 minutes. I kept thinking my water to compound mix was off. In the end I battled through it but wish Id known this at the time. If I could make a suggestion that this tip about cleaning your mixing container between batches or using a fresh one be printed on the bags of compound along with the mixing instructions, that'd be a real big help!

Great to be back to terrain builds and practical hands-on tutes - Good riddance to the "paint a mini" thing/aberration that happened. Wonderful to see the channel back to its core with a focus on using your products and tips and tricks on the terrain side. Nice one.

Hey Luke! Quick question about the sealant spray. My spray is brand new but it does not spray in a cone like yours. Mine comes out a solid line which means i use way too much on bases. Is there a way to make it hose more instead of a solid line?
