I have to agree, this movie doesn't reflect the empowering message anymore. Watched the trailer here again and felt cheated. But again, it teaches another lesson in life - One should never invest their lives in ventures that they don't really believe in. Feeling of hypocrisy from within might suck em out while feelings of many to whom they would have been a role model will get crushed

I remember many listening to tat song and getting goosebumps... it's not the same song anymore...the innocence just fell...

@@jalal3254Caste system runs subtly in many places in India but most of it resides just in names. Only in rural North India it's still at large and hardcore as shown in Article 15. The movie exposes the brutality towards dalits by a man made system which ofcourse is a criminal offence. What you failed to absorb is that non-dalits are also fighting against it for their imancipation. This actually is being used more as a political tool nowadays. Our texts had a system call Varna which was harmonious during that time. One could migrate to a different social strature by virtue of his work and choices in life - Just like today's doctor, engineer, soldier etc. Over the time it got bastardized by those in power to not let anybody else attain their position, again political. So understand that there was nothing religious about it. Two kind of people follow casteism -1. Fools who actually never read the scriptures and believe in the wrong practics of fools from last generation blindly. 2. People who actually are benefitted from this structure. Most modern urban Hindus don't even give a fuck
