What impresses me is GEELY now owns VOLVO. Thats Why the Coolray has a VOLVO 1.5 turbocharged 177hp Engine n its Luxurious interior!

In my opinion, this base variant Geely Coolray Comfort could still compete with the Top Of The Line MG ZS Alpha, the only downside of GCR Comfort is no Android Auto/Apple Car Play and Sun roof (which is subjective)

Not bad naman pala ang base model ng Coolray. Actually ang cool ng mga features ng top of the line but I can live without those hi-tech features. I can see myself getting the base model of the Coolray in blue! Parang masarap mag apply! I would like to test drive! 😍

Nice review sir, hingi lng ako ng kunti advice. If it's worth to buy coolray compare with other Japanese brand crossover or other mid size mpv. Okavango is a 7 seater. Honestly sir, it doesn't even compare to other 7 seaters from other brands (imho). It looks stylish inside-out. The only caveat is it only comes with a 1.5 engine. Check it out for yourself sir. You might have a change of heart once you've seen and test driven the car.

Kahit base yan panalo pa rin. Makina ang bentahe ng Coolray. Mas mataas pa sa power at torque ng innova gas variant. Yung durability at after sales na lang ang inaabangan. Marami ang nagaabang dyan isa na ako. Ahaha. Hanggang abang muna. Sana wag magmahal.

177hp, 255n-m torque. Those figures alone, imho, makes it a better value than the cheaper base models of vitara and ecosport that you mentioned. If you value fun, spirited driving than high tech features, the base model is actually more compelling than the top of the line. The difference of 220k can be used for 2-3 years worth of gasoline instead 😁

The GCR Comfort only has 2 airbags. The Premium has 4, and the Sport has 6.

This Comfort variant is bang for the buck I believe. Better than Asx, Ecosport to name a few. I just hope that it would be easy and affordable too to maintain for the long run.

Ocada tv white, vermilion at orange lang ang available sa sport variant, sa premium at comfort lang available ang silver. About the engine, it's volvo technology if you are asking for the reliability.

The engine and tranny is designed with volvo and has more than 12,000,000 km logged tests. It has surpassed stringent volvo standards which is higher than the industry standards. This is same engine/tranny in some variant of the volvo xc40.

English for wider audience. When we watch a movie like Black Panther or Avengers sa sinehan, may subtitle ba or Tagalog ba ang salita. Hindi, diba. KZfaq is worldwide and most of us understand and speaks English. Kung marunong ka kumanta ng mga English song sa kanta singko, ma iintindihan mo rin itong video na ito. Anyway, great video. I totally agree with you. The base model looks cool than some other competitors. For less than a million pesos and with a Volvo engine, its a good buy.

@@jonmanilenio yeah, thanks! dati ko nang alam e, that comfort only has 2 airbags. but this vid gave me hope that at least it had curtain airbags. then even autoindustria (www.autoindustriya.com/car/2020/Geely/Coolray/1-5-turbo-comfort.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjw0K-HBhDDARIsAFJ6UGju0YpR-KX2399wgAn6hiy02dZKINMu4IMbFR8sSc9xfb90QRunbVMaApF3EALw_wcB) and autodeal's write up about the comfort indicated at least 4 airbags. that lead me to chat with Geely rep, hoping the 2021 variant did include 4 airbags, pero wala talaga, haha. i could only afford a comfort which is ironic since i'm avoiding sunroofs. we had a bad experience with sunroof of another vehicle, drain got clogged and water eventually made it in the vehicle. it wasn't a cheap vehicle. so i took a peek at the sunroof of the display earlier, luckily it was opened and confirmed as well that it's common for water(and dirt as it looked like a mud patch) to sip through what little gap there is.

2nd choice ko ang CS35 plus... Advantage is may aircon vent sa likod, but in terms of brand support, lamang si Geely sa dami ng nag-oopen na dealerships dito.

Sir, the advantage of Changan is that it has the same dealership company as Hyundai Phils. As far as I know, Changan Phils. will utilize Hyundai dealers, at least for initial sales and services.

Good thing about geely coolray it has full features and high-tech from base model to top of the line ,sayang walang manual with full features,wet Dual clutch transmission lang,game changer to pag proven na un reliability after 3-5 yrs,gusto ko kulay nito blue,Bkt kaya 3 cylinder lang to?mas ok sana 4 cylinder.

less moving parts, less maintenance, less fuel consumption, less weight. 12valves lang ang kailangan i tune up. 3 cylinder pero taas ng HP.

Very sulit. I dont mind having sun roof and 360 degree camera. Tropical country naman tayo and I can Drive without the 360degree camera, pero at the end of the day, to each his own.
