Having recently spent a couple of weeks in hospital where the NHS basically saved my life I'm a little biased towards them, but during that time I did see first hand the day to day struggles they were having. They're understaffed on the front line, I've nothing but praise for the nurses / doctors / healthcare assistants etc, but they were overworked due to not having enough of them. The governments of the last however many years haven't wanted to fix this unfortunately, they'd rather see the NHS crumble. I hope the suggestion below from Steven can happen and the NHS just pay for it to be done private quickly, children shouldn't have to wait.

P.S., like all large organisations and governments the bureaucracy is ridiculous, too much paperwork and far too many managers getting in the way! The NHS is in big trouble but it’s not through lack of money. It is a bureaucratic monstrosity that’s probably not far from collapse? Sadly.

Joe go to your docters and say you want to been seen my private hospital through patient choice and the nhs will pay for it. Its to get the waiting lists down. The nhs don't advertise it as it costs them money. Buts it's agreement they have to get the waiting lists down. I have done this my self. I am in crewe but had to go manchester. I had consultation and then a operation done all in 9 weeks. If you need anymore help get in touch. Brilliant video as always. Children cone first. Take care.

When the NHS was formed the government were told by the Treasury that the financial provision for its support would be unsupportable after ten years. By 1958 it was and governments have written bigger cheques for less result after every election. The time has come to revise the way it is funded!

What if you cut the back of a trough barrier and tilted it outward some and welded a plate on each side. Do one and see how it goes!

If I had waited for the NHS I still wouldn't know that I have Parkinson's ,we have become so disolutioned with the NHS that we have health insurance which has proved it's worth with my wife now needing a hip replacement so perhaps you should look into doing the same

When it's Family it's never a downer, it's just Life (Good / Bad / or Ugly) I absolutely 100% agree that for those who don't have any other options for medical care it sucks. But there is nothing you can do about that so it's family first all the time and if you can you do and you shouldn't feel guilty about it. Your extended KZfaq Family will keep you centred with your feet firmly on the ground. 👍.
