Hi from the real Steven in East Green Bay. WAY BACK 40 years ago in 1980 thus was Still the C&NW RR, with double track, and left handed running. Many times there were 2 trains running running in opposite directions both north and south. But the CNW Timetable directions were East to West. I also saw the bi- level coaches of the "400", and the CNW 1385 4-6-0 used by CNW between 1982 to 1986 like the 1984 special excursions East to Bellevue on the former Lakeshore Div. And 1385 highballed East UP to grade with 4 bilevels and 2 private cars for the guests of the NRRM, and the EMD. F7A 402 for the return run to the station at 200 Dousman St. 1385 ran East at over 35 mph, which is a Vast change from the MCRYM at North Freedom at only the average 10 mph, but diesel 402 was forced to run back slowly due to 1385 being a 4-6-0 without a rear trailing truck. Then 1987 the lines were sold to F.R.V.R., except for the Wausau West line that was ripped off and made into the nature path, yet I believe it could be rebuilt as both a commuter line, and also a excursion train with the steamers from the NRRM, because the new track can be rebuilt with super heavy rail at 136 Lbs., and run U.P. 4017 BOG BOY 4-8-8-4. YES ...It's true, because everybody criticizes me as a dreamer......but Dreams really do come TRUE, and we can use this project as incentive for the Economic Development Grant, and make many new jobs for track builders, and operating crews for many different engines, with diesels, then steamers for tourists, then electrics for Green Energy to protect the environment. Also we can rebuild Westbound from Wausau and return to Minneapolis for long distance travelers, because the recent expansion of Hiway 29 into the new 4 lane Superhighway shows that there is a massive demand for other forms of transport. And with the extra high price of gas at $5.00 per Gallon it proves that the railroads must be rebuilt to provide the only practical form of ground based transport. Also soon in the future there will be new trains like monorails or Mag-Levs on elevated tracks, that are also encased inside tube shells to protect the guideways from snow in the Upper Midwest. Thus the Maglev can travel at 200 M.P.H.!! Even during the blizzard!! Therefore, there is Hope for the Future, even if gas prices go up to $10.00 a gallon. Instead of semi trucks, there will be independent engineers using diesel locomotives, but instead of pulling only 1 or 2 trailers, soon you can pull 50 boxcars!!!!! Now that Is COOOOOL!!!!! Because it is Steel Wheels on Steel Rails, with very little friction and literally turn on a dime and even a penny. But the rubber truck tires are being ripped to shreds by the rough concrete highways, that are overcrowded with traffic jams the cause Long delays, and create the poisonous gas of Carbon-Monoxide(C-O)... But all the while in parallel to the crowded road is the abandoned railroad overgrown with weeds, but in the recent had the highballing freight trains with coal fired steamers of many type, like the ALCO 2-8-2 Mikado, then the larger 4-8-4 Northern, and the Giant 4-8-8-4 BIG BOY, and pulling the mile long train with 132 cars weighing 4000 tons. Later by thev1950s replaced by diesels like GP7 and RS3, then larger C-C Diesels like SD9 and C628 and H2466, and after 2001 now there are. SD70ACE and AC4400CW, and even better in the future. The Railroads built up the USA 🇺🇸 AND THE WHOLE WORLD 🌎 for the past 190 years. But by Ripping off the railroad tracks during the past 50 years since 1970 the U.S.A. has stumbled and staggered with highways. Luckily, the good old railroad tracks are just waiting in the weeds, and they will be rebuilt with new heavy welded rails, and concrete crossties, and carry the heavy freight trains across the American countryside once more. Awesome! CN runs in my area on the CN Bessemer subdivision they got some vintage Bessemer engines left on the property and mainly run 4 CN SD70M-2s on the iron ore trains

Good morning Steve. I see Green Bay is one of the many cities where trains are prohibited from using their airhorns with the exception of emergency uses. It won't be long until those new high side gondolas at 5:48 get tagged like all the other freight cars. I had to laugh at the reporting marks on that tank car at 12:22. Don't know if you heard of the band Styx?

I've seen twice railcars with the trucks turned sideways dragging.

The track that goes out by HWY 41 is called the Howard spur and is still operated by CN. The branch lines from Green Bay to Denmark and Luxemburg are now FOXY lines. I recently found your trucking channel, good stuff.
