Geetsly's Question, I was a under the impression that the elite soldiers in the original clone wars show were regular arc troopers over the null arcs, being led by Fordo, not Ordo. I ask because you used pictures from the clone wars show, showing the arcs and labeling them with the null arcs names at 8:46

They’re unique in their own way, the bad batch is a great option because they’re more than just clones. I’d love to see a series that changes squads of commandos every few episodes or every season in order to keep it fresh

I agree. Personally not a fan of the bad batch. Feel it takes away from the normal Jango template clones and takes away from the best we have seen like the Nulls and Delta Squad and how bad ass they are. Just takes their spot and shows them up. Like they are clones but they dont have the look or feel. All of them look like random dudes who made their living as badasses and then came together as a squad. They could have just done Null ARCs instead of this Bad Batch bs. Just takes away from what they already had. Make a new and completely useless team. Like why not use that arc to show off Delta Squad or Nulls or something we havent seen. Nah heres a squad of a bunch of rando clones. Trash tbh. Hated it.

when i first read her book i fell in love with the null almost instantly they are amazing and when i try talking about them no one know them and its sad because of who they are and what they did :(

I've been researching and watching everything related to the Clone Wars and I never heard of the Null arks in my entire life and by watching this video I figure it out it's pure badassery

Shame the last two books and Imperial Commando: 501st just had to ruin the RC storyline with its overuse of shock value and demonizing the Jedi way too much for logic to handle.

not part of Geetsly's server, but i still love these 6 badass clones, they are smarter and stronger then even the normal ARCs pitty Traviss is so stingy with them.

They wouldn’t have fought against the empire unless found and recognised as deserters, otherwise they would have lived on Mandalor for the rest of their lives without a care in the world for the galaxies problems

Alec Medeiros She would‘ve liked to continue her series and even make it into a show no doubt, but she wouldn‘t let the people who were in charge at LucasArts back then change the essence of her novels. If they‘d gotten their wish Ordo and his brothers would be PG-13 and nothing more than empty husks of what they‘re supposed to be.

@@marckrieger3277 which ironically adds to the reasons why we should get a show featuring the Nulls. That's a perspective we who have read the books have, but no one else does. Ideally, we'd get a series shot like the Mandalorian - small set, mostly done in Unreal, with some very up close and personal action. A Republic Commando series could totally achieve that, and simultaneously target a more mature audience. These books are just begging to be made into a tv show.

Disney is the real perpetrator, they always have been! Travis had a chance to save her clones from ruination and she took it, if kal was their dad, then travis was their mother the situation was shitty but she did what she could!

Vincent Chen Same. I would’ve loved to see these characters be expanded on. I would’ve loved to see how Captain Maze and General Zey got to be where they were. I would’ve loved to see more of Omega and Delta Squads‘s missions. This novel series is imho a thousand times superior to the TCW we got.

KIBUKAJ me too, though i like characters like ahsoka and captain rex from the Disney canon one.

KIBUKAJ I like to fit it into my head canon, which is mostly Disney canon with a few sprinklings of legends. Omega, delta, and the bulls are canon, and Star killer is an inquisitor.

Honestly, it can very well be canon. Most of it is characters that aren’t used anywhere else and all the events fit into the clone wars fine

To be fair the fucked up ARC Troopers in general in the show pretty good. Alpha and Null Classes are the only real ARCs

Stacked out phase 1 arc troopers would definitely sell better for me at least but then again I’m a sucker for phase 1 clone armor

He had zero respect for Travis and her stories when making TCW (which had zero respect for pretty much everything that predated it) so makes you think he has any respect for her characters? He doesn’t. Filoni hated the EU!!!!! Imo TCW was the Sequel Trilogy before the Sequel Trilogy in terms of continuity and quality.

I'd personally argue the Alpha ARCs were the closest to a pure jango fett clone as jango trained the Alpha's himself, the Null's were more like Kal Skirata but instead they look like Jango Fett.

zoe Hutson If they‘d done that, they would‘ve drained the essence that made them so awesome by removing Mandalorians as they truly are and replacing them by the BS pacifist/terrorist split we see during TCW. I wish we had gotten Traviss‘ version of clone troopers in a more mature TV show that tackled death and especially the enslavement of the clone troopers in-depth instesd of the children‘s show with a gust of mature themes sprinkled in.

ZexalBrony479 the Nulls definitely knew that not every Jedi treated their troops like dirt, but in their opinion that didn’t make the clones‘ enslavement any less of a crime (I gotta agree with that). They wanted none of it , which is why they only listened to Kal Skirata and no other being.

In fact the left picture is two times Ordo. I know it, because it shows myself and a friend of mine wearing our Ordo costumes (501st Legion German Garrison members). However he orriginally intended to build Fordo instead of Ordo and changed his mind lateron haha :D

And to train the girl Jaina went to Mandalore to train with the best Jedi Killers next to the Sith, where she also met people from Clan Skirata! Haven’t read it myself, but there is more of Clan Skirata‘s fate sprinkled in there.
