God led me to this song 5 years ago. I was in a a strange place and filled with heavy emotions. I had no idea why I'd listen to this song and weep. Little did I know, God was preparing me for the unexpected loss of my brother in the coming months. This very song ministered to me and Jesus kept my family during that time. 5 years later and I hear this song and I'm reminded of the deep and irrevocable love of Christ. Though life is full of changes, it good to know that you can hold into the unchanging, unmovable, hand of Christ Jesus. Lord I pray for all who are in mourning or remembering someone today that you remind them that you have them in the palm of your hand. Remind them to invite you in that pain ans frustration. That you're close the brokenhearted. That if the hold onto to in this time that it will be ok. For anyone dealing with any pain mental, physical, spiritual and emotional may you the balm of Gilead heal and soothe their aching souls. In Jesus Christ name I pray Amen

I became nihilistic and somewhat bitter after over 2 years of fighting for my daughter's life. She was diagnosed with brain cancer at a tender 19 months old. 19 days before her fourth birthday, I held her in my arms as she took her last breaths and fell asleep with her one last time. The moment her heart stopped, I woke up and gasped. I can't say everything that happened, but I felt the presence of my Savior so profoundly that I bowed my head in humble worship. Only a perfect and all powerful and all merciful God can make the death of my child the most spiritual experience of my life. Yes, there's grief and pain and a million emotions with no name. But there's also embracing peace, love, gratitude and a determination to serve Him. We begged Him for a miracle and He gave us just that. He brought me to His feet to know Him. And my daughter will never suffer with brain cancer or any other ailment again. But I will see her again. I have already said my last goodbye to her and she's safe in the arms of my Savior.

I was trying told a few days ago that I’m positive for Covid. I’m at home recovering listening to this song. This the Hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. But I’m grateful I’m still here and getting better. I’m blessed and think GOD for his presence and healing. 🙏🏾
