God led me to this song 5 years ago. I was in a a strange place and filled with heavy emotions. I had no idea why I'd listen to this song and weep. Little did I know, God was preparing me for the unexpected loss of my brother in the coming months. This very song ministered to me and Jesus kept my family during that time. 5 years later and I hear this song and I'm reminded of the deep and irrevocable love of Christ. Though life is full of changes, it good to know that you can hold into the unchanging, unmovable, hand of Christ Jesus. Lord I pray for all who are in mourning or remembering someone today that you remind them that you have them in the palm of your hand. Remind them to invite you in that pain ans frustration. That you're close the brokenhearted. That if the hold onto to in this time that it will be ok. For anyone dealing with any pain mental, physical, spiritual and emotional may you the balm of Gilead heal and soothe their aching souls. In Jesus Christ name I pray Amen

I became nihilistic and somewhat bitter after over 2 years of fighting for my daughter's life. She was diagnosed with brain cancer at a tender 19 months old. 19 days before her fourth birthday, I held her in my arms as she took her last breaths and fell asleep with her one last time. The moment her heart stopped, I woke up and gasped. I can't say everything that happened, but I felt the presence of my Savior so profoundly that I bowed my head in humble worship. Only a perfect and all powerful and all merciful God can make the death of my child the most spiritual experience of my life. Yes, there's grief and pain and a million emotions with no name. But there's also embracing peace, love, gratitude and a determination to serve Him. We begged Him for a miracle and He gave us just that. He brought me to His feet to know Him. And my daughter will never suffer with brain cancer or any other ailment again. But I will see her again. I have already said my last goodbye to her and she's safe in the arms of my Savior.

Praying for this family. Kierra Sheard lost her grandmother. What a big lost for this family. God be with this family.

When the doctor did my ultrasound she said I was in labor and that I needed to go upstairs to have my baby. Here we are today 11 brain surgeries and a 4-month coma later. The day after giving birth I got my tubes tied. The anesthesiologist did not put enough medication in my system so I felt the whole procedure. The pain caused me to have a massive stroke and a ruptured AVM. I was rushed to emergency brain surgery and they removed a part of my skull so that the swelling of the brain would have somewhere to go. Then I went into a 4-month coma. By the way I want to thank everybody who came by to visit me during that time. I had to learn how to do everything all over again once I woke up. Thank you Aunt Sheryl Brown McCoy for stepping in and taking care of Jeremiah and Sherle for me. I would especially like to thank my mom Caprice McDonald for helping me and staying by my side from the time I gave birth until now. She lives in Los Angeles by the way. Three and a half years before I got pregnant with my last child I was an exotic dancer and video girl. I was human trafficked at about age 14 and worked in the sex industry for 12 years. , I would like to send a huge thank you to House of Hope ran by Rosie Hightower Victoria's Friends founded by Best Selling Author Victoria Teague , Faith Christian Center where pastor Joel E Gregory was the senior pastor at the time and Minister Min Sean Hackney who was one of the ministers at Faith Christian Center.
