That very last bit where the 303 crashed through the ship looked like it was animated by the same guy who did the cutscenes for Muv-Luv Alternative.

i wonder if they made the gekkostate ship in real life that would be cool or the tb-301 devilfish.

Kawamori never disappointed us in mecha designs, my friend. Gotta love all his works. Eureka Seven rocks! The moment at 1:09 reminds me of David Vs. Goliath, the Gekko is just 'tiny' compared to the Ginga! (Also never thought that the Gekko could maneuver like that. Either Moondoggie is a very experienced pilot, or the Gekko is very mobile for a ship of her size.)
