The best way to describe 80% of Strive character is that playing vs them feels like playing Russian Roulette with a magazine fed gun, because no matter how many 50/50 you guess right you will still end up dead and left looking stupid afterwards (like for real why is my opponent able to go 10 full seconds of mashing and have 34 50/50s during that, done made blocking feel like a quick time event)

I recently returned to Guilty Gear after playing a lot of Tekken, and I think a large part of why I like Guilty Gear more is the community perspective. Tekken players tend to take themselves far too seriously, whining about anything that looks to be a stain on their perfect, honest, fundamentals focused game. Guilty Gear players will complain about some cheap play from their opponent for all of 15 seconds before remembering their character can do something even more unfair.

As a faust main winning just because your opponent got lucky has to be the most annoying thing in this game. If you get good enough RNG the game basically becomes a 2v1 because your items will jump the opponent with you

As a Goldlewis main, I can tell you that his healthpool and corner pressure are by far not his most annoying traits. On oki he has like an 8 way mix-up. And every single option is mega plus or leads to another oki.

I would like to remind you that every success you see it the result of the dozens of failures you didn't see. This is to say every time Faust gets a lucky meteor/mini faust, there's about 10 times where the game just auto gave the opponent trumpet and completely fucked him over.

As a Bridge player. I know, gameplay wise, why Bridget haters hate her. But.....there's another, more sinister reason.

I unironically love the polarizing, crazy characters. Part of tjat brought me into this game is the high overall power levels of thr characters.

Guilty gear is a game where every character is broke and plays in thier own way and I love it for that, and it is some much more interesting then a game where every character is balanced and plays relatively the same, no one whats to go back to street fighter 1 pvp ryu v ken but the are actually just the same character and same moves with different colors.

I recently started gaining enough courage and playing online against randoms and I relate hard to this video and now I finally see why people blame the beasts so much... Also, as an avid Bedmain I can confirm that if you fight us prepare for a few things: Overheads, Beyblade, Explosions, and when you least expect it Overdrives these two moves alone carry me, so God damn much it's how I beat my opponent 99.99% of the time. While they're dealing with the explosions I go: "I'd be damn shame if I suddenly did an overhead now wouldn't it?" and it almost always works same with mid-air Beyblade or round start Beyblade they just don't see it coming somehow... Also, I did not expect the Chip from Sonic Unleashed picture fir Chipp it caught me so off guard!

Guilty Gear tradition is basically hate every character except your main, and hate your main when playing mirror. Tbh as ABA nation citizen I got carried by Nago until she actualy came out, you can imagine the pain I have to go through by having to learn the game after playing it for almost 3 seasons.

As a most likely very bad at the game sin player, the one thing he struggles with is getting zoned. He has zero moves that hit further than midrange, his furthest reach being beak driver which can knock the opponent back a bit and make things worse if you don’t have stamina to use its follow up or gazelle step. His only real approach tool is elk hunt, which still has a slow startup and puts him a bit minus on block without the follow up. He’s very kill now think later.
