This video by Aspire32 is a part of an ongoing series on Dental Composite material science. The video explains the Gel point of the composite due to which high-intensity lights like Laser and Plasma arc do not prove to be a good choice for the Dental composite curing. The control over the gel point helps to prevent the polymerization shrinkage of the composite. Dental Composite is an important topic from Dental Material and Operative Dentistry. Easy dentistry at Aspire32 helps grasp such topics of Dentistry in the simplest possible way for dental students and dentists. Gel point of dental composite materials or gel point of dental composite resin is a very important property.
This video of Aspire 32 is made by Dr. Suresh Shenvi who has cleared various exams like ADAT, NBDE from the USA, DHA from Dubai, and various Indian Entrance exams like PGI, KCET, NEET. I am MDS in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics by profession. I am also an author of dental books on the entrance exam and I am also currently a faculty at KLE University and a receiver of best teacher award.

Very important..and well discussed! Thannk you for this doctor! I hope you'll have a lecture about dual cure composite..on how it benefits the pregel phase and the direction of shinkage in letting it cure on its own..rather than with light

Sir : great videos made simple. Can you make videos on class 2 Composite polishing especially areas where it's hard to reach such as the proximal ( box)surfaces which is is usually left rough and ignored. The other area of interest is the different techniques for class 4 Composite like using co form, free hand and lingual / palatal putty index. Also a note on using the #ed tooth piece and incorporating it in the Composite (anteriorregion ). Hopdits not too much to ask knowing that It's a lot of efforts and time needed to make such videos. Thanks

I already watched it but the name“soft start“ is not mentioned..Is soft start the same as pulse delay? Or step cure?
@Aspire32
@Aspire32 4 жыл бұрын
I read about it. Both step curing and pulse delay are type of slow start since they first use low intensity and then shift to High intensity. books.google.co.in/books?id=fJNIjIwUNpMC&pg=PA676&dq=step+cure+slow+start+Composite&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjq7OPU3qnrAhV-zTgGHcSKAQEQ6AEwAXoECAEQAQ#v=onepage&q=step%20cure%20slow%20start%20Composite&f=false
