Nice job👍 You need some of that plastic C-section capping on over the steel bar in-between the wobbly rollers, can buy it from most good boat trailer shops, buy it by the meter and cut it to your required length, just drill holes in it and its normally just cable tied on with big ties. Otherwise you'll be back up for another repair later on down the track if you slightly off centre when retrieving, good luck 👍

thanks for the message , the boat didn't hit the bar on the wobble rollers that's not the problem its the start of the roller ladder where the gal steel sticks out on the sides and i missed the center roller driving it on, cause of some crosswind on the boat ramp that day making it difficult, I have since made modifications which seem to have solved this problem with additional guides on the trailer, which will be explained in another episode when i finally get a chance to edit the footage.

What is the name of that fiberglass filler you used. I cant get the name off the can. Please send so i can buy.

Septone Glass Fibre Filler which is a glass fibre reinforced polyester putty , then i used Septone Gel coat repair as a scratch filler , both of these products were purchased from Supercheapauto.com.au

why dont you use sanding block....

Thanks for the question, I actually do use a sanding block later in the video to get the filler flat, but for roughing it up its easier with out a block to rough up and scratch the low sections that would not be touched if i was using a block.

Thanks for the question, not sure if the ratio is mentioned, Mekp ratio depends on temperature , i usually use about 2% or 2ml per 100ml at 20deg C , if its a bit colder I would use an additional 1% and 1% less if its over 20deg c, i typically use 4ml /100ml for gelcoat just to ensure it hardens , I usually do a small test batch to make sure the MEPK is still good and that its going to harden the gelcoat. MEPK gets weaker over time and exposure to UV light so if its been sitting around for a while it may not be as strong. cheers.
