Starring Talya Çelebi and Cenay Türksever, "Gelin" is the life story of two people from entirely different worlds: Hançer, who gives up her dreams for her loved ones on the one hand, and Cihan, who has fire in his eyes on the other.
Hançer, who gets her name from her sharp gaze, faces an offer that will turn her life upside down. Taking advantage of the fact that Hançer is poor and has a family that will not cause trouble, Mukadder offers her to marry her son and give birth to a son. Hançer, who dreams of finding the love of her life and having a happy marriage, first rejects this offer, but when she learns that her brother has a fatal illness, she is forced to accept the offer.

Love it that Hancer spoke the truth about their relationship or lack of one. She laid it all out for him. She didn't lie to him about the money, she just never told him where it went. Cihan because of being a man in that country and rich, always had the upper hand over Hancer. Hancer always treated him and his mother with respect. Cihan on the other hand did not always treat Hancer and her family with respect. He didn't want anything to do with them in the beginning. In fact he didn't treat the wedding rites as real nor did he wear the ring for a long time. Hancer treats everyone including the staff and his friends with kindness. Cihan doesn't even do that. I am glad that she is not being bullied back to that house. Cihan should court her and treat her well, get rid of the ex, and either the mother behaves or place her in the other home and Cihan and Hancer has kids and raises them in the mansion. All the BS comments on here about she should suck it up and stay with him is just that, BS. If he has changed his mind and wants a real marriage than it has to be done right.

Totally agree! Well said! I think her finally standing up for herself and refusing to continue to be mistreated, will be the thing that makes Cihan want her more. Cihan accuses her of not speaking up but he has yet to be honest about his ex- wife, so he has no room to talk. I hope the next season will involve him pursuing her and them building a relationship on trust and understanding. Let the love story get started now. 😅😊

She finally told him how she feels and didn’t give in to his insistence on continuing with the marriage. Love that he sent his mom back home. They’re starting to talk so that’s good. Now his pursuit to win her love will be fun to watch. One of things that he loves about her is feisty nature.

Tamam. As much as İ agree with Çihan here about Hançer’s dishonesty - İ must point out that he can’t talk either as he hasn’t been upfront with her about Feyza. Another hurdle in their relationship to overcome next season İ guess, which means another 84627 episodes before we see some real juiciness going on 🤣🤧
