Use up some of those gel prints in this postcard challenge hosted by ‪@CeriGriffiths‬ .
This is a month long challenge during July, so I'm going to be very busy as I'm doing Junk Journal July at the same time. May need a holiday after all that.

Challenge details:
Participants are required to share a video (reels and shorts count) or image of a postcard each day for the entire month of July (31 postcards in total).
Only share one postcard per day.
Each postcard must contain an element produced on or by a gel plate. (brayer-off papers and digitals are accepted).
The postcard can be decorated in any style and the gel print element does not need to be the focal point or main element.
Each postcard must show a number to represent the day it is posted upon e.g the 12th July has to have the number 12 on the postcard. The number can be any size and in any format also the number must be on the front of the postcard as part of the image.
All postcards must be 6”x4”, can be either landscape or portrait, if mounted the final dimensions must still be 6”x4”.
Postcard corners can be straight, rounded or snipped.
Social Media and Posting:
Participants are encouraged to use the hashtag #GelyPostcardPlay when posting on any social media platforms.
KZfaq creators should use the hashtag in their video descriptions or titles.
Suggestions:
Participants are advised to create playlists for their KZfaq videos, photo albums for Facebook, and boards for Pinterest to easily organise and share their content.

Love your gel prints Leigh! I love playing with paints and sometimes just making a mess. I do use my Gelli plates so thanks for some more ideas on using the prints.

Wow 🤩 what gorgeous geli prints! Really gorgeous! I can’t wait to see what you do with them over the challenge. A huge congrats on 5K! 🥳 That is a wonderful and well deserved accomplishment! 🥂. Thanks Tamara, have been monetised for a while but don't make any real income from it, don't get enough views. May consider tips etc or maybe a membership in the future. Your gel prints are really beautiful. I have watched you teach them but have not had the courage because I feel like the mess needed to make them is just out of my comfort zone. I'm not that free in my art yet. I may give it a try when I finished destashing my art space and make room to do this. I'm excited to watch your July/ Gely videos.

Thanks Theresa, one of the greatest tips I can give you is to not use a lot of paint. It makes for a messy printing session and the prints take longer to dry. Use thin layers to build up your prints and you will enjoy it more. I put my prints on the floor to dry (and any other free surface) and my working space is probably about a meter by 1.5 meters. You need a place for the gel plate, your pile of paper and a clean-off sheet, and the paints too. Cheers

Thank you Teresa. A brayer, gel plate and some paints are the 3 vital things. You need paper to print on and somewhere to make your prints & lay them out to dry.
