This is just what I have been looking for! I am new to wire wrapping and have been searching for a way to set an emerald cut stone. You make it look so simple!

IKR! I don't understand why YTers always use "filler" music during instruction videos. Their lovely voices are enough.

Very nice! Your pieces are sooooooo very cool! I'm trying to learn how to "set" some crystals and/or rough I've collected over the years. I've got several prospecting/mining friends that I meet up with when they come to town for the gem show. I'm looking to go travel around and prospect thier mines over summer break one of these years. I'm really trying to brush uo on my wire wrapping skills so I can open my own business. Thank you for the videos. Very helpful. I'll check out your site, maybe buy a piece to support my fellow crafter! HAPPY FRIDAY THE 13TH, and Harvest moon! I'm staying inside tonight away from all the crazies, lol.😄

Great video. I have a suggestion to make your videos even better. It was a little hard to see what you were showing up close. I know not all cameras are good with really close focus but a little more overhead indirect light would have done wonders. Maybe one of those ring lights that come on a stand and have a flexible neck. Just set it up over your workspace and viola.

Question, when your putting the wires together to start with the half round are you putting them like 2 on 2 and not all flat across
@beanub12 жыл бұрын
The wires are flat across , and then you use the half round to bind them . Once your ready to set the stone , two wires in the middle are bent down slightly to support the stone from the bottom and the other 2 cage the stone in from above , now we bend the two middle wires back up to be flat across once again , hope this helps!

I saved this video to compare with another wire wrapper on stone setting. The music ...🤯. Couldn't get thru the first 30 seconds. Why would you drown your voice with that noise while doing an INSTRUCTIONAL video? Mind boggling. And also irritating as it can be.

Check out my single setting V2 ! It’s a little better ! ,I apologize for the audio I was being cheeky but you can mute the audio and just watch , the setting is very simple ! 🙉
@mawi11722 жыл бұрын
It would have been so much better without the music. Try some soft guitar strumming. Or quiet piano pieces. The music you used is not good. 👎
@beanub12 жыл бұрын
Thank you for comment , I will make sure the music is tailored for your ears and enjoyment 😂😂
