Ali,I am a new fan of yours! You have quickly become my favorite Gemini reader! I’m a senior woman who has not been in a relationship in 17 yrs. It is definitely NOT like riding a bike- wait maybe riding a bike now would be a good comparison. I fell for a 70 yr old Chinese sax player- (you can’t make this stuff up!) The attraction is mutual and physically he’s helped me break through some pretty big blocks. (It only took us a year and nine months to get there!!😂😂) and so I was euphoric no matter what the outcome is. I knew from conversations the physical part of a relationship is still a very big deal to him…. To the point that I’m really concerned. I am a whimsical free spirit and wouldn’t be able to fit in any box no matter how nicely decorated. And instead of allowing me to explore and play, he directs everything which brings out huge red flags. The sad part is I’m seeing that he’s maybe never had the kind of love I offer. Maybe he’d love to learn how to relax and play instead for categorizing everything- and maybe not. You picked up the calamity of our experience like no other. It’s been a wild ride this far in fact I’d like to write a book How Not To Start A Relationship At 70!! You make me smile as you try to help me figure this out without even knowing it.i must tell you this man has so much compassion for others. He goes to play at assisted living facilities and to the bedside of those sick. It’s completely different with his relationships with women. I’m pretty empathic and beginning to understand more that he may have serious intimacy issues…. Perhaps they weren’t all mine. He’s dealing with a close friends death right now so I’m hanging back before we have ‘the next’ talk. I love the friendship part. Anyhow thank you!!! Even the help line is shut down for the month of July. Almost like I'm being held and trapped and forced against my will. Its almost like someone has complete control of my phone and communication.
