i made this and 1. you HAVE TO put this in a fridge before baking it 2. take it out of the oven when you see the cookies turning brownish around the sides 3. it would be SUPER SOFT as if it’s not cooked when you take it out but let it rest for like 5 minutes and you will get a chewy and perfectly cooked cookie

nourhana nader You can. I haven’t tried margarine specifically but I use oil and it turns out great every time.

These are INCREDIBLE! It is a family favorite. Take Gemma's recommendation to leave it in the fridge for a few days. It makes a difference. We also rolled these into logs and froze them. When we wanted cookies, we just sliced them into rounds.

Just ate one of these cookies, Gemma said they were big ,she was right she also said they were easy to make, she was right again. I wanted to come back and say that I have made this recipe twice and it is AMAZING. Truly, the best chocolate chip cookies ever. If you follow the instructions, they really do turn out exactly like Gemma says they will. Make sure you eat them warm. They are still delicious once they've cooled, but then they taste like a grocery store bakery cookie.

Yuuumm! I was planning to do the brownies today and I ended up doing these cookies, super good, I couldn't stop eating the cookie dough. I put them in the fridge for an hour and a half before baking them, when I took them out their edges were good but the inside still tender so I wasn't sure if I took them out too early but if you leave them out for 5 min they still cook and they're perfect. Make sure to leave plenty of space around the dough balls so that they don't stick because they spread quite a bit.

You can try the same recipe using some different ingredients such as fruit sweeteners and gluten free flours but will say add a cup of brown and opt the remainder for powdered sweeteners and taste just as good - I've tried and came out okay but I did add some coconut to it too

I baked these yesterday and they were a super hit! One of the best cookie recipes I've tried. Super easy too, since no creaming of butter and sugar is needed! I reduced the sugar slightly and had only 250g of chocolate chips, but they were perfect. Next time I'll try adding some chopped toasted pecans....maybe some butterscotch chips too....I'm drooling already! I’m a junior, 17 years old, and the joy that comes with sharing cookies with my friends never gets old. 100% would recommend making different kinds of cookies on random days just because it’s so fun to share them

This recipe is sooo good! The cookies are so chewy and soft but I would cut down the sugar a lil bit! One of the best cookie recipes and would use again!

I'm a student. I tryed this and it's amazing it' s SOOOO good and easy to make your videos are really good im in quarantine so it's nice that i don't need to go to a store. I saved one for my grandma (very hard for me) and she loved it. All the other cookie videos say it's easy and it takes about 3 YEARS to make.

I saved one since she has to get Chemo and it really hurts her and stresses her out. I'm really happy she liked them.Also your channel is amazing. This is really the best chocolate chip cookies recipes I ever tried! After having tried many chefs recipes that ended up with cookies that were too cakey or too thin I found your amazing recipe, that even suits French ingredients like the « President » butter or the eggs... and gives Gorgeous American style Cookies !!!!
